im trying to give clint the 35 copper ore for a quest but he took on as a gift so i went back to my farm to grab a extra but he still wont take them. Im using the pc game pass version

i did that, i talked to him at the desk and behind the desk but he just does his normal dialogue

I mean you do have to collect the ore after you get the quest I just didn't see that part

Right on. Just to clarify you have to pick up the ore after you accept the quest from the notice board. Just for future readers.
