Issue [PC] Sleeve mod suddenly stopped working properly

Hi, would somebody please save me from the inevitable headache I'll be getting if I keep wracking my brain over this?

I use a body retexture alongside a seasonal sleeve mod, both by the same author (I'd ask the mod's author but have no way to contact them). Both mods are made to go together and until a few days ago were working fine, but all of a sudden the sleeve mod just doesn't want to play ball and gives my hands a strange look (pictured). The weird hands disappear when my character gets into her swimming gear, but when I change back the weirdness returns. This made me think it could be an issue with the clothing mods I use, but it happens with vanilla shirts as well.

When I uninstall the sleeve mod the body mod works fine on its own (also pictured) but I really want to continue using the sleeves and don't understand why it's suddenly doing this.

I've tried everything I can think of. A bunch of important stuff updated recently like Content Patcher, so I tried rolling back to previous updates with no luck. I don't have any other body/sleeve mods installed. All my mods are fully updated.

Any suggestions? I'd be grateful for any help, going doolally over here.

Could you please link to the clothing mods you are using? I'm having difficulty identifying which mods you suspect may be causing the issue.

For now, I am at a loss for what may be causing this issue. My suggestion would be to verify your game files in Steam, just in case some default files got corrupted or overwritten.
Please do that and post back here if it's made any difference.

Thank you so much but no change, unfortunately :c I also tried isolating all my other mods so only the ones required for the body retexture, sleeves and clothing were in the mods folder, but that didn't help either. This happened out of nowhere, so I'm completely baffled.

It could be that one of the other updated core mods is changing something, but it will be very difficult to isolate.

If you want, you can upload your mods folder to somewhere like dropbox or catbox and send it to me via PM here.
That way I can try to reproduce the issue and then investigate further, but of course I can't guarantee a solution.
Up to you if you want to go that route.

I had the exsct same issue, no idea how to fix it so I switched the farmer body mod and sleeves to Beom Mung's as well. This one.

Were you using the exact same body mod and sleeves as me (GH's)?

I've used BM's body retexture before but it had a weird issue where I couldn't change my eye colour when it was installed. Might give it another go if I can't figure out a solution to my problem...

I was using More Elegant Female Farmer Body and GH's seasonal sleeves!

But it was the exact same issue, so I'm guessing there's something incompatible between body mods and sleeve mods.

I replaced both with Beom Mung's body and sleeve mods and there are no issues so far. Maybe there was another mod conflicting with BM's body mod for you?

EDIT: I got curious so I went check and I had the eyes color glitch issue as well but I figured out how to fix it. I don't have the time to edit all 40 body types but just merge this png on top of the body type/s that you want to use on any image editor and eye colours should work again :) This png needs to be modified for the sleepy eyes options but it should give you a guide on how to fix those too.

Thank you so much for uploading this, that's very kind of you! In a way, it's a relief to know it isn't just me who has the issue with the sleeves.

I had a bit of free time so I fixed all the body pngs so eye colour should work in all of them. I don't know if I should post this in unofficial updates? Anyways, if anyone wants to use Beom Mung's body mod, replace all the images in the Body folder with these.

This is a bit off-topic, but would you mind posting the sleeve folder as well? When I downloaded Beom Mung's body mod, it didn't come with anything in the Sleeve folder.

The sleeves recommended for use with Beom Mung's body mod are by a different author, in the Naver cafe:

I'm not allowed to, sorry. You can use the pngs from any sleeve mods.
