PC [BUG] Frustrated, unable to progress - Multiple bugs (SP)

I'm recently back to SDV after being gone for two years. This save file was nearly complete when I walked away from the game, and I planned to explore the new content and have a good time, but I keep running into issues where I can't progress into new content. Everything seems fine and I've verified the integrity of Steam files and yet:
  • Unable to complete the last Community Center bundle (fish tank). I have fished up some of the needed fish but I can't apply them to the bundles [BUG].
  • Unable to get to Ginger Island because I can't complete the Community Center and do all the things that come after that.
  • The Mermaid show at the Night Market didn't have interactive clamshells to solve the puzzle [BUG].
  • Unable to add a cellar to my upgraded (T2) farmhouse so I can use casks [BUG?]
I suppose the answer might come back that I just have to start over. But I hope not.

For the mermaid show one, you have to watch the show before you can interact with them. As for the others, I can't really say much except to make sure that you are putting the right fish into the bundles.

Have you ever played with mods?

You could upload your save file, maybe someone is able to figure out if something is wrong with it.

Thanks for the replies. I do appreciate your attempts to help.

@Geoman265 Yes I watched the mermaid show several times but I wasn't able to interact with the clamshells for the puzzle.
@Ereo No, I've never played with mods so I know that's not the problem.

I suspect it's some kind of mismatch between the original game file and the expanded content but I'm not a codemonkey so am just kind of flailing around in the dark.

I'm guessing the same, having not had the file updated at each step, just with one massive update, some things may have glitched. As suggested by Ereo, though, there are some codemonkey sorts around here that could take a look to see if they can spot the problem. There are some competent and helpful sorts that know their way around a savefile around here. Even if it wasn't caused by a mod, they might be able to fix the savefile. I'd suggest uploading it for folks to take a look at.
