What Is/Are Your Favorite Hat/s?

For my horse, the absolute winner, hands down, is the Top Hat. Some of my other faves include the Hair Bone, either the Lucky Bow or Polka Bow, and Bowler.

For the kids? I really like the Witch Hat and Skull Mask, turning them into Shock and Barrel from Nightmare Before Christmas. In another save I joked about how my kids needed all the help they could get to survive what with me working and my spouse off doing random crap so I put them both in a Golden Helmet each of them.

For me? Well... it depends on the aesthetic for the character. I want something that fits the motif. Eventually, in most of my long-played saves, I end up getting one of the magic hats from the Desert Trader, whichever fits the rest of the outfit (or in other words, which hat I pick is based on whether I'm wearing prismatic pants or prismatic genie pants).

The good ol cap since my farmer is modeled on my real life best friend Dan who is at this point practically physically attached to his hat he wears it so much.

Other than that I like the goblin mask and Concerned Ape symbol ??? mask.

I also like the top hat and found it to be hilarious that a hat like that would be put into the game.

Plus it’s doubly humorous to me since YouTube lol cow Wings of Redemption wore a top hat during his wedding ceremony and it looked equal parts hilarious and stylish on him.

I've always liked the fedora. It gives my character a bit of an Indiana Jones look, plus it's easy to get in the first year of the game. All we need now is a bullwhip weapon for the game.

I like my farmers to have some role play. So their hat varies depending on the situation: a beanie when it's cold, a fishing hat when going on a fishing session, a sou'wester when it's raining a lot, pumpkin or goblin mask on Spirit's Eve festival, and so on...

But my favourite defaults are: the good old straw hat or daisy depending on gender.

I don't like to put an hat on my horse. I put funny mask/hats on my children's head depending on what is unlocked (dino, cat's ear or santa if available).

I usually rock the Butterfly Bow in early game as you get it pretty quickly, though parting with that 1K g for the first time for a cosmetic is a heartbreaker for a cheapskate like me. But it just doesn't do looking like a bedraggled cat while giving gifts, and I need all the help I can get.

Those elusive Cat Ears show up wayyy later in-game.

You should be able to put Hats on your Pets so I can put Cat Ears on my Cat. A 4-eared Cat would match its 4-eyed owner pretty nicely, I think!
