What is/are your favorite hat/s?
I didn't add a pole because there are too many hats
My favorites are top hat, Santa hat, party hat (blue), propeller hat, arcane hat, pirate hat, deluxe cowboy hat and Mr. Qi's hat

It all depends, honestly. Am I going to put it on my horse? Am I going to put it on the mobile hat stands with which I will eventually share my house? Am I going to wear it myself?

For my horse, the absolute winner, hands down, is the Top Hat. Some of my other faves include the Hair Bone, either the Lucky Bow or Polka Bow, and Bowler.

For the kids? I really like the Witch Hat and Skull Mask, turning them into Shock and Barrel from Nightmare Before Christmas. In another save I joked about how my kids needed all the help they could get to survive what with me working and my spouse off doing random crap so I put them both in a Golden Helmet each of them.

For me? Well... it depends on the aesthetic for the character. I want something that fits the motif. Eventually, in most of my long-played saves, I end up getting one of the magic hats from the Desert Trader, whichever fits the rest of the outfit (or in other words, which hat I pick is based on whether I'm wearing prismatic pants or prismatic genie pants).

My main farm's character has the cat ears. I considered replacing it with the magic cowboy hat, but I was too used to my kitty character so it went on the horse instead.

I used to have a seasonal outfit for almost every season including a matching hat, but that deteriorated when I reached the point where I had a different look every time I left the Oasis. I'm currently wearing the new goggles.

My dude rocks a ponytail and isn't fond of hats, but I definitely still have my favorites -- I just make my kid wear them instead. XD

Favorite hats:

- * dinosaur hat
- cat/mouse ears
- Santa hat for winter
- that hilariously enormous pink bow
- the daisy (my farmer puts it in his hair for the spring dance)


Still excited to find more hats to add to this list. I've been weaving up cloth like crazy to experiment on the sewing machine.

Just leave a chest with Sandy or by the bus stop so you can pull out your stuff whenever you visit.

I tried to like the Dinosaur Hat but I hate it. It's ugly. Except from the back, it's super-cool that way but I just end up in the Witch's Hut every day so it lacks ultimate function.

You'd think that Mouse Ears might be good but my hair is so great that Mouse Ears are subsumed by the sheer volume. Yes, I do use Prell.

I tried the Bonnet as my first hat but you might as well not have hair if you use the Bonnet. I already look enough like a Sphynx Cat and don't need more help.

Obviously I prefer the Cat Ears as they match my look, don't block my hair, and generally make it look like the left earpiece of my glasses is broken.

However in game right now I have the Pirate Hat as my buckles were lacking the necessary swash, my legs unpegged, and my hook was merely metaphorical: charm, style, panache, and general clumsiness around the farm.

Also it makes me look like Michael Coldsmith-Briggs III from Airwolf, and who doesn't want that?
