Switch 129/130 Golden Walnuts

On the Qi counter it says I’ve only collected 129 of the golden walnuts but when I try to talk to the parrot for hints it doesn’t say anything. I’ve looked through the wiki for all the ways to get them and I’m sure I’ve gotten them all. I’m pretty sure the reason why is because I fished up one in the pirate’s cove right when it turned time for the pirates to arrive and I didn’t receive it. I looked at the other posts and it seems other people have the same problem of their count not matching with how many they’ve collected but I’m on switch so I have no way to edit the game files. I’m wondering if there would be any other way to fix it because I’ve been working towards 100% completion and I can’t get it without all of the walnuts.

I had this same problem, it ended up being that when you donate stuff to Prof Snail, you don’t immediately get the reward. So I went to check with him and lo and behold there was my last walnut!

I went and tried that and there weren’t any walnuts there so I’m pretty sure it has to do with me fishing one up but not collecting it.

I have the same issue here. 129/130 and no clues from the parrot.
Did you figure out what happened?
