Don't double-post, you can edit by clicking on the three dots below your post if you forgot something.

That is a very discutable rule.
In my opinion it is only true if you need to change something right after posting.

If you edit a post a moment later, someone that follow the post would miss the edit if he read your answer between the post and the edit.

Simple (stupid) exemple :
A : "hello, [question]"
B : "Also interested !", *follows*
C : "ok, i'm checking"
B : *reads the answer, but doesn't reply because it is not his question*
C : edit his message to add response
A : *never comes back because he is new and forgot about his question*
B : *never comes back because he never received the new notification*

We usually let double posting stay up in certain cases where people might have missed mentioning something important in first message and on our Multiplayer (LFG) board! We try to tackle them case by case usually but the rule is there to avoid spam! But you're always free to give us feedback on forum feedback board!
