iOS Infinite items multiplier glitch ( IMPORTANT!!! )

I found out a glitch online where you can infinitely multiply ANY ITEM you desire!

Pattern:
1. Fill out the chest with any item of just like in the image I have uploaded.
2. Leave out one empty space.
3. Use any item you want to use as a multiplier to your desired item you want to multiply.
4. For example you want to multiply an ore using logs:
a. Put one log in the empty space.
b. Tap and hold the item you want to multiply until it turns red
c. Then tap and hold the log until it also turns red.
d. Then put the log into the item that is also red by tapping it not dragging it.

Additional Info:
- This works both IOS and Android
- v1.6.15.1 build 25156
- Non-modded
- Both Single & Multiplayer

Hi! I tried reproducing this on iOS, version 16.15.1 (build 25156), without mods.

I was able to make both items turn red by long-pressing the item I wanted to multiply first, releasing it, and then long-pressing the other item.

However, after both items were highlighted red, tapping either item didn’t multiply anything for me.

I may be misunderstanding step (d). Could you explain exactly what you do at that point? Do you release your finger after making both items red, and then tap one of the items?

Also, I noticed that the item in your screenshot appears to be smoked fish rather than logs. Is that the item you used for the glitch, or is the screenshot just showing a different example?

I’d really like to figure out how to reproduce this!

You did it correctly, but here’s the mistakes:

1. Use only (1) item. In the screenshot you used (10).
2. Also, you’d like to multiply that item you put in there at the chest, the (10) one right? Swap it, use the logs as the multiplier one.
3. Highlight it red the one you want to multiply first, then highlight it red the (1) item in the chest.
4. Then release your finger, if both is highlighted red then proceed to the next step.
5. Tap the item highlighted red item you want to multiply, the one highlighted item in your bag.

I was able to reproduce it!!!

Here’s exactly what I did:

1. Fill the chest so that only one slot is left empty.
2. Prepare the item you want to duplicate, and one item that you don’t mind sacrificing.
3. Keep the item you want to duplicate in your inventory, and put exactly ONE of the sacrifice item into the empty slot in the chest.
4. Press and hold the item you want to duplicate, then release your finger.
5. Press and hold the sacrifice item, then release your finger.
6. At this point, both items should be highlighted in red.
7. Tap the item you want to duplicate.
8. The sacrifice item disappears, and the quantity of the item you wanted to duplicate increases!

The sacrifice item only needs to be ONE item!

I tried it with wood and coal, and I was even able to duplicate iridium ore. This is amazing!!!
