The problem with the basement

Sure, it ages are your stuff and makes everything good new but is anybody else a little tired of going out and end of all those barrels of having a place all the rest of your stuff around and around it trying to navigate and make it neat and order it’s so annoying right?! and even then I can’t like age anything because a purple crystal is blocking the weight of the cave on my farm

Bobbi does not want to annoy the Order's Grand Poobah with excessive sweat production, lest Le Poobah actually needs to get offa their lazy buttinski with intent not only to question her misguided motives, but offer her leadership of the Order. That's how you get to be leader: putting too much effort in shows you have an unusually and probably medically concerning not-low motivation and therefore are de facto volunteering to assume the responsibilities of leadership.

And nobody wants The Curse™, least of all our most casual of farmers.

I'm joining everyone who doesn't get what you mean. I don't place anything in the cellar besides a chest and maybe extra casks if feel like I need them and then I age goat cheese there. When I remember to. Which is about once a season.
Also, what purple crystal are you talking about?

Or are you mistaking the cave for the basement and a meteorite has struck and blocked your access to it? If it's a meteorite, upgrade your pickaxe to gold and do away with it. And you can't age anything in the cave. It's for either growing mushrooms, or having fruit bats.

The basement is accessed from the kitchen, gotten as the third house upgrade, no need to go oustside. If you've accicentally placed a crystal in front of that staircase, just pick that crystal up.

I think they're complaining about the cellar map being pre-cluttered and not the perfectly tidy square of usable space.
