Which did I choose... for what? My first farm? My first farm after 1.5 dropped? My favorite layout?

I suppose if you've played multiple farms you could choose your favorite. I had multiple other farms where I never made any progress and rarely made it past day 8. My main farm is a river though.

I normally do either Standard or Four Corners because the layout is easier to make neat and fancy but I am enjoying the Beach Farm for my first 1.5 playthrough! It's making me focus on different things, so adding a new challenge after ~850 hours, which is really nice! It may take over as my favorite once I get a better idea for what can be done with the space!

My first farm is standard, not satisfied with it though, since I was new at the game.

My second farm is forest, smaller area forces me to be "creative" with it. Now I'm about 5x faster than my first playthrough.

I've played all but riverland, 4 corners, and beach. I've loved them all, and will try them all.
I love the forest farm especially because it blends the mountain to the north with the cindersap forest to the south. I like how it fits with the wizard potion, junimos, and forest sword magic. The foragables and hardwood are a plus. Woodskip in the pond, too.

I voted for the farm I picked the first time I played, but that's a bit unfair since there was only one option then (the standard farm). I've since played on the forest farm, four corners, and a bit on the new beach farm!

For each major release I choose a farm with a new layout, so I went with the Beach Farm this time. My favorites are Beach and Woodland. Original is OK, Hilltop is annoying, 4 Corners is meh and haven't tried Riverland yet. I'll probably try Spoopy next as it sounds like fun.

My definite least favorite would be Wilderness farm. (Not to be confused with the forest farm) I'm a night owl both in game and irl, so monsters wandering around would just be annoying.

haha.... I didn't even consider the Wilderness farm as an option for me because I'm scared of the monsters lmao

I started with the standard farm, and my completionist instincts took over, so now that's my main farm because it has a little of everything you can do in the game. (Well, except the 1.5 stuff. I'll go do the 1.5 stuff on that farm after I'm done with the new playthrough I started.) So I guess I'll vote standard?

I've tried all the farms but 4 corners (planning to get to that eventually). Standard is nice just because it has lots of space, same with wilderness. I like the wilderness layout better than standard farm, but the monsters are annoying for the first little while until I get good weapons. The beach farm is really pretty, and fairly spacious, as long as I resist my usual urges to do tons of crops. The forest farm perks are nice, but the lack of usable space is annoying. (I wish grass could spread on the grassy parts of the forest farm.) I find the river and hilltop farm layouts just make it hard for me to make a nice-looking farm, but ymmv.

4 Corners lends itself to partitioning... which is just awesome. You don't have to build and then maintain large stretches of fencing. You can just have 1/4 of your farm blocked off with a few tiny bits of fencing with gates and BOOM! Animal pasture. It's got water everywhere you could need it. It has a mini quarry all to itself. It's got a hardwood stump that regenerates every day. It's basically got just a little bit of everything and is just so easy to organize. Plus, I like the greenhouse and farm cave being centrally located.

My first farm was the standard, years ago when I bought the game. I've played them all except for the wilderness farm. The farm I'm playing now is the beach farm. I always delete my last farm save because I use the same name for my farmer but I name the farms differently.

My first farm was the standard one and it's beautiful. Started a new beach farm and there is definitely not as much room for crops, but I like mining the best anyway. I'm about to propose to Elliot (again) and I think he'll be happy at the beach farm.

Ginger Island is also a blast! I've enjoyed creating and updating that home/farm.

I tried the normal map at first, it was... pretty normal I think.
I tried 4 corners (alone), I didn't like so much. Too big for one person alone, not convenient to work inside.
I tried Hilltop, but I think it didn't keep it promises. You definitively cannot mine as a living in this farm.
I tried river, but I dont remember so well. I think fishing here was not so pleasant.
I never, and will never, try forest. I really dislike foraging wood, so I know I would not enjoy it.
I didn't try monster farm, I was affraid that monsters would be little bit too challenging, but I would maybe give it a try someday.
I'm now playing on beach, and I really like it. I like fishing, so I can do all day long. I dont like farming (yes...) and I do only little bit farm work, so the sprinklers lock doesn't bother me.

So far I've been playing primarily on console (any of them), so I don't have access to the update yet. However, when it's available I plan on trying out the beach farm :)
