Awesome. At first I played the game (and reached perfection) without interacting with the community at all, and I'm really glad I did it spoilerless and didn't try to do everything perfectly from the start. Should've done the same with the new update, when it came out on mobile new stuff didn't feel that new because I was kinda familiar with it from YouTube.

I always go, but not very often and generally only enough to complete certain quests, like Master Angler. By the time it's unlocked, I'm pretty focused on my farm and Pelucan Town. I fix up Willy's boat asap, because he's the best NPC, but somehow end up forgetting about the island for anywhere from a couple seasons to a year. Every time. 😄 I also seem to be one of the few who has no issue paying Willy the fare to go there.

I try to go for a new spouse every save. Also try to pick a farm type that would suit them.

I forget about it for a while too after coming back from the first time. Usually because I need to wait for something, but get too absorbed in farm stuff that I forget I ever went there.

I usually plant out the island farm with ancient fruit or pineapples. I go for the fish quest so I can stock fish ponds with Legend II. And to finish off the combat goals in the volcano. I hate gathering all the walnuts so I get the easy ones and pay the golden parrot to finish it off.

I've gone there every save that got that far. The first few times I started over when I realized I could've done something better or sooner. Last of my "training wheels" saves did reach Ginger Island.

I have to say I utterly spoiled myself before even buying the game. Helped me keep down the number of restarts.

Is it possible to pay for every single coconut? (Shows you how long it's been since I've been to the island haha). Because I may do that out of spite next time I go there
