I had an issue were steam overlay won't show at all, i had way around it tho by making the game not run as an admin but i noticed there's no any other overlay working discord the gpu software etc not even windows media overlay (the one that show up when u adjust the volume) but this one i can interact with it using the mouse but it's still hidden, sometimes i can get discord overlay to show in windowed mode and flickers in in windowed borderless mode


i tried using the old versions in the steam beta section the only one that worked properly with overlays was the legacy XNA version which is not supported by smapi

note: all mentioned above was tested on a clean installed version of the game with clean save file steam cloud turned off and i'm on windows 10 x64

any luck with this? having the same issue. I find that despite being borderless windowed, the game acts as fullscreen and is always on top, making every overlay etc appear behind it. Super frustrating.

Unfortunately no I'm not sure but i think it has to be the gpu's driver if u have old hardware cuz it happened to me in another game on dx12 and it got fixed when i booted the other game in dx11
