The strangest one I can think of right now, is when Elliott wanted a Joja Cola for a soup he was making. At first this doesn't seem too odd, people do use cola in cooking and baking sometimes... It's more what he said when I gave it to him.
"Ah, the Joja Cola I requested! And it's a beautiful one, too."
... What makes a Joja Cola beautiful? What are the requirements for that? Another time Linus wanted squid for his evening book club.
Lastly, there's this other request I got once, that isn't really odd at all, I just think it's funny how in character it is for something that's randomized.
"Lewis is in need of Gold Bar. - 750g on delivery - Lewis will be pleased"
