I've been playing like a madman these last few days and got to where you unlock recipes that need radioactive ore and bars. Does anyone know how to go about acquiring these?

You need to get the quest where you need to dig the mine again from lv 0 and then you can get the radioactive ores.

Where to I find this quest? On the new island? On the special orders? What are the prerequesites?

After you get 100 walnuts and enter the room, you will be able to do qi challenges. Each week you can do the quest and it's random what you get. I dont remember the name but basically i was told to reach lvl 120 mine where the mine is filled with stronger monsters
