1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

Reached Perfection of my Wilderness farm.

Thinking of doing a relaxed challenge save. Relaxed in the meaning of not rushing to achieve perfection. Challenge in going above and beyond perfection.

A goal like either earning 1 billion G, or having it on hand would keep me going. Not sure which of the two though, maybe I'll decide when I've reached the first of them.
Hill-top feels like the best option for it, I'm drawn back to that farm map. Beach would be easier because of the supply crates.
I should do the community upgrades, since I've never bothered with it before. No saving up for the golden clock before those and the return scepter are bought.
Expand the farm to all areas of the farm map and fully expanded home, and make some attempt at decorating.
Complete the unfinished intention of having one quality sprinkler's worth of each regrowing crop on Ginger Island, leaving the limited space on Hill-top for crops that need replanting after harvest.
Sell processed goods in batches of at least 100 (or a full stack for stuff like wine), apart from smoked fish that keeps the original quality.
Only sell gold or iridium quality crops for the achievements. Process the rest or use it in cooking.
Not sure what to do with animals, if I should focus on just a few species or try to have all of them (like all 5 colors of chickens). Will see about that.

Not sure if I should limit myself in the early game someway. Ideas welcome.

Startade om. Well, scratch that. I restarted. Not just the game, but my phone too. Seems my brain had a reset to my native language at the same time.

Was surprised at reaching Fishing 2 before the end of day 2. Doesn't happen every save. I did restart the day once, because I realized I couldn't focus on fishing while at work, then went at it again after getting home from work. Good thing I didn't decide to rely only on free seeds for farming, because they've been few and far between. Geodes on the other hand have been plentiful, including some magma geodes from fishing treasure chests. Cashed in on some of the fish to get a rare seed on day 7, then again after reaching Fishing 5 for some upgrades. At first I thought to upgrade the pickaxe, then remembered that the backpack upgrade might be better. I did overshoot the goal of 2000 G though, by a large enough margin that I just need to cash in on some quest rewards to afford both.

Willy had some eel bait one rainy day, so I bought that. I find eel a lot easier to catch than catfish. Gonna keep the eels until I have a kitchen.

I've only extended the elevator to floor 15 in the mines. A better pickaxe will help even if it's only the exp-giving stones so far that need more than one hit. Also need one more slime to access the Adventurer's Guild, and then a bunch more bugs to get a better weapon for free.

Upgraded the pickaxe to steel, and the axe to copper. Just sold enough fish to upgrade the axe to steel, but depending on how many rare seeds the traveling merchant has on this last day of Spring, it might have to wait. Got only 21 strawberry seeds at the Egg Festival, since that was how many spaces I had open, so I've yet to reach Farming 5. Picked up the summer seed rewards from the museum to have them ready for planting. Got one coffee bean from a dust sprite, and planted it with some speed-gro. The two mahogany seeds I got from clearing most of the stumps on the farm got planted ASAP.

Have reached floor 65 in the mine, so I guess I'd better hurry up and get to floor 80 if I want to be able to make quality sprinklers when I learn the recipe for it. I was lucky enough to get the Jewels of the Sea early on, so I've been saving up the roe I've got so far, but I suspect I won't get 15 of a kind for the fish farmer bundle until I've got at least one fish pond. And I strongly suspect I'll have to fork over 15 Angler roe, like the other times I had that bundle, but better that than Crimsonfish roe.

Got Caroline's 2-heart event, so I should be able to make enough tea saplings to pay for the summer seeds I'll buy, and maybe even a coop. I built a silo first this time. Might end up making a second scarecrow and plant a bunch of wheat for passive watering farming since I should get enough rain in Summer for that.

Oh, and it turns out, the Key to the Town does work on Leah and Elliot's homes.
Would be strange if it didn't. It also works on the Adventurer's Guild. Though out of consideration for their chosen business hours, when I pop in early it's usually just to check the monster eradication goal progress, not to shop. Though currently in this save, I'm a long way from getting that key.

The wiki says is does not work on their homes. Guess it needs an update. Not to mention it's missing another color for blue jazz.

Managed to get the recipe for lightning rods in time for the second storm of the summer. Having got past floor 80, I'm making gold bars in preparation for when I get the recipe for quality sprinklers, which may take a while considering the passive watered wheat only just got me past Farming 5. Harvested my first moss from a tree, the day before the green rain, and got a decent moss harvest from the rain too. Finally upgraded the axe to steel and helped myself to the Alleyway Buffet and the Secret Woods. I'll leave the logs on my farm until Robin puts up her special order for hardwood.

I think the biggest thing is that I restored the mine carts. So much easier to get around.

I cry every new save until I unlock the mine carts. I will repeatedly bum rush the mines just to get them back. And then, because I just spent forever without them, I promptly forget that I have them and still run around for another week in-game.
