Ooooh... um... hmmm... I'd rather rate it on a scale from lazy to hardcore, and I'd say comfortable. I really don't like judging others.
I'll just tell you where I'm usually at by the end of year 2 (just a little further along than you are), and you can see where you fall in there, and maybe see what you'd like to shoot for in the future?
At the end of year 2, Grandpa's ghost will evaluate the farm (rating of 0-4 candles at the altar)... and in my very first playthrough I got 3 candles. Since then, I always get 4 (which comes with a very nice reward). That typically means that my cumulative earnings are over 1 million, I've completed the entire Community Center (and as I'm not big on fishing, the last bundle completed is usually the Aquarium), my 5 skills have an average level of 6 or higher (total of at least 30 skill levels), have 8
with at least 5 people, received the message that my pet loves me (happens when you max friendship with him/her), gotten married and upgraded the house at least twice (so could start having kids), donated at least 60 items to Gunther at the museum, and reached the bottom of the mines. In addition, I usually have a field of the most expensive crop that keeps producing after planting in my greenhouse for a constant supply of that to make wine from.
And on that scale of lazy to hardcore that I mentioned? I'm not hardcore. I'm barely dedicated.
Most hardcore folks quit and start a new game after Fall of year 2, and to be honest, that's just crazy to me. There are parts of the game that you literally can
NOT get to until year 3 (like seriously, there are parts of the game that don't unlock until certain dates, and some don't unlock until year 3).
Anyway, I hope this gives you inspiration and does not make you feel like you aren't doing well. Because, as I said, if you're having fun, you're doing it right. If you want to do more faster, though, I'd be happy to give advice without judgment.
