1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

Picked up the Qi fruit quest at the beginning of Spring. Let's see if I make it. I may have taken too much time out to participate in festivals to succeed, but I've got a week left and about 350 fruits to ship, with 7 iridium sprinklers' worth growing, some of it on quality speed-gro, cutting a day from the growth cycle.

Built the last obelisk on the farm (apart from the mini obelisks), got the final artifact for the museum, and shipped the last few items. I guess it's time to turn my focus to the remaining fish, and seeing what's left to get the polyculture and monoculture achievements.

Did get a fair few mummies and serpents during the desert festival, but not enough to reach the goal for either.

Sebastian said we should get a slime hutch and hatch a bunch of slimes. I'm vetoing it. Riverland is a bit short on space. First child is a toddler, but so far no request of getting a second child.
Second child is not neccesary! Spoil the first one lol.

I know it's not necessary. The first one got the golden helmet on becoming a toddler. Keeps her a bit safer when careening about the house. The second would get the star helmet if he got to toddler stage before I reach perfection, but as the days go by it seems more and more unlikely it will happen. Not much more that can be done to spoil them, apart from putting down a few stuffed animals and talking to them every day.

I personally think this logic applies to real life very well lol. Parents can focus on one child better and also allocate funds more than to neglect multiple children. Stardew sucks when it comes to children tho.

Most farming games are poor at handling child growth and tend to end up freezing time/development for them at one point or another. Exceptions do exist, like Harvest Moon: A wonderful life, but they are rare.

It was going to be my first time displaying something. (I've never decorated anything in 54 years.) My plan was to show all 378 Combined Rings on 1 screen on my Ginger Island Farm. But apparently you can't put Rings on tables :/
I already completely destroyed my Ginger Island Farm. Ha, oh wells ^.^
