Jiffy! Is that a peanut butter?
I think it probably should be like key because that's the way it's spelled, but I've always said kwee because that's the way I've always said it. It's like with Craaan and cray-on, just say that it can be pronounced either way at this point!

Some people are way too worried about pronouncing stuff correctly. Nobody cares about how you pronounce things that you KNOW are subjectively pronounced. It's like the spelling of color vs colour. My teacher is a ghetto snob and tries to speak British english to seem fancier and always will call me out for using American pronunciation and words.

I'm learning Latin, and I was translating the adverb perterritus or something, and I was wondering why english has no word for "terrifiedly" that's actually a word

My native tongue has a lot of sayings that would sound incredibly awkward when spoken in English lol. English is terrible yet still the most wide spread language.

english is a very mechanical and logical language, but is oddly rigid and inflexible unless you're talking to teens, who speak their own dialect of english. it's a phenom
