List of suggestions i have.

I have some suggestions i'd love for the game:

- Some sort of Four Corner farm maps JUST based on each skill: mining, foraging and fishing.
I like the Four Corners map due to it being useful for mining and foraging, and has enough space,
i just was thinking about one farm map for each of these skills, to have it more tillable and based on only one.
I think the others are too small, so i thought about this, or the suggestion that we can buy farm upgrades for those older maps to make them bigger.

- Dog not running and barking so much, as on the characters that have the dog instead of the cat, have to wait for it to move from tillable spots, and i get surprised by each bark.

- Upgraded trash cans giving at least 1g, so that after upgrading, you never get 0g from cheap items.

- Repeated dialogue giving same amounts of friendship points as non-repeated, as it's annoying to hurry to get Gus on Monday outside, and others when they are in a repeated dialogue for a few hours.

- Enemies away from stairs, so i don't get surprised by a few slimes, slowing me down a lot, or 4 Haunted Skulls almost killing me, even though i had the Crabshell Ring, as i couldn't easily get out of the way, and all 4 triggered as soon as i arrived!

- Haunted Skulls not spawning right after the bundle, as i was surprised and had no chance to just get some ore i needed, without running around and concentrating on those Skulls!
I've seen more people around on sites mentioning them not liking them Skulls there.
Maybe either another thing to do to trigger them in the mines, or not in the mines at all, but in Skull Cavern.
Maybe a trigger idea that could work is after the bundle AND either level 100 of Skull Cavern, or completing the Quarry Mine.

- Spouse never changing wallpaper or flooring, maybe as option or something?
I just want to change them sometimes, and would be a waste of money if they change it to something i don't like.
Maybe another way to not let it happen, i don't know, but it's a waste of money, and annoying.

- Carpenter, Willy and Marnie+Leah trash can.
I think they deserve a place to throw their stuff in, and it being nearby.
Not important, but i think it'd look better, and makes sense, then maybe have those trash cans containing stuff related to them, like the one near Marnie and Leah having forages and hay... maybe eggs and milk sometimes?
Robin may not like damaged wood, and demetrius could have too much stuff he works with.
Willy throws away fish he has too much of, maybe some bait in bits of 5-15.

- Slimes outside not running away, as i want to have a character(maybe more than one) with lots of slimes around on the farm.
Maybe way to keep them on the farm, like an endgame building, or late game Slime Lure Box or such to place anywhere on the farm.

- Quests staying longer than 2 days, like maybe random, like from 2 to 4/5 days.
Then no longer getting quests that cannot be done yet, like cauliflower early spring, or slimes before the mines are even open.

- I also like floor decor to not be destroyed by debris, so i can give my farm the look i want, without having to add new ones which are destroyed by debris every next season.

That's it for now, this is what i had in mind for a long time, but i figured i'd better post it as soon as i can... little late for the next update, i guess(?), but at least want it to be posted!

You can do that currently by purchasing the Gold Clock from the Wizard!

I love these suggestions! I especially like the trash can one... it always seemed weird to me that there were never any trash cans for Willy, Leah, Marnie, and Robin!

I guess, but i do this game for fun, and i play longer than most do by completing stuff real fast, and to be able to at least use the floor decor without losing it, would be very nice, instead of having to hurry to get that clock, which is pretty pricey, too.
If i wouldn't hurry, which i don't want to, as i play the game to have some calm times, i'd have to wait a long time.
If this would happen, i'd still need to watch out for crops that i keep throughout seasons, like coffeebeans and such.
It's not a big problem, i just thought to put it here, so it'll be seen, at least.

And thanks sunflower013, i started to wonder why many trashcans are near each other in Pelican Town, but the villagers who aren't in town have no place to dump it easily.
I wanted to say Pierre+Harvey, too, but it's not far to Gus and George their trashcans, i guess.

I hope more people will like some!

Um... what about the Slime Hutch? Or am I not understanding what you're asking for here?

The Slime Hutch has a limit, and i want them outside on the farm, but outside they can run away.
They also can .... be different when near villagers, not gonna say what, but it's fun!

Update with new suggestions:

- Fruit tree fruit having more uses, as they barely do anything now.
Some more dishes would be nice, and maybe some quests added that require them.
Maple syrup can be used for more dishes, too, as it doesn't have many uses, and Maple Bar isn't that effective with its +1 buffs.
Truffle oil is also not used for much, same with truffles.

I also was checking on the wiki for tailoring stuff, and saw plenty of items having nearly no uses, if any at all.
I always wondered why Holly, which is mostly disliked and hated, doesn't have some GOOD uses, and since it's decoration, it could be used to craft decoration with.

Maybe put it like this: I'd like all items that have nearly no, if any at all, uses, to be used for (more) things, be it crafting or cooking, maybe both in some cases.
Even if stuff like fruit tree fruit are mostly for cookings with little healing, as it's fun to have at least everything being useful.

- More variety with clothing, as i've seen many things that make same clothing.
Like Fish Shirt would be best with just spook fish, seeing as it's white, in a dark environment, and the shirt has a white fish on a black shirt.
So many items, yet so many of them make the exact same clothing, while it's be more fun to have more clothing to choose from.
Weird is that Roe and Void Mayonnaise make the same shirt as Magic Rock Candy, while that's a very expensive item!

I know ConcernedApe is busy, but in the long run getting more different things, and more uses for items that are barely worth touching, would be nice to play around with.

- Maybe from year 3 on we could have quests asking for a dish, it could be easy to make dishes only, or maybe later on also more expensive ones, so that cooking has a better use, especially for dishes that aren't worth cooking much.

- Windy weather having uses, as it now has nothing special to it, while i'd think it could do something nice.

- Jack-O-Lantern not becoming rotten plant, as i would like to have some place to make Halloween themed.
I was thinking about making one non-upgraded Shed per character to make it a nice themed place.
This idea came from "that denver guy" on Youtube pretty long ago, but losing a funny decoration would be a waste, if one doesn't pay attention.

Another idea i just got, is a/the standard map with Four Corners features, so we have some open map with a bit of everything.
Like maybe 9 tiles less of Quarry sand somewhere at the left upper wall, near the Shrine, one large stump next to it, and having just carp or just what standard has, which is trash.

I also would like to see a bit less trash on all farm maps, as it's an insane amount right now!
In standard (and the map i mentioned, if it'd be a different map) there's only trash, which can be nice if one wants to catch a lot for resources, but the other maps should have a bit less trash, imo.

Then i just got another idea, about the farm ponds fish, which would be some rare fish for all farm maps their ponds.
Maybe if daily luck is maximum, or just one single day per year. Maybe daily luck maxed AND having the spoiler item: Special Charm .
I'd also like to add an idea to have some special and strong dish it can be used in, and maybe a quest that gives a lot of money.
And only one can be caught per day, so you'd need another maxed luck day after getting that certain item. (click on empty space above if you wanna see it, but it's a spoiler, so it won't be a surprise anymore if you didn't know that "secret" yet!)

I am married to Haley, and she changed the flooring in the cabin to suit her tastes, and asked me how I liked it.

I'm married to Haley in my solo... and she's never second guessed my decoration choices. I think the problem might be you. 😉😘😅😂🤣

You can do that by putting it in your inventory or a chest when the seasons switch.
I know, but i rather not think about that every single month switch. Just removing that happening would be nicer.
I wanna make a new character (again) to have a Halloween themed farmer and farm, and don't wanna lose it if i've been busy and forget about putting it in my bags everytime.
Just a simple QoL suggestion.
And imnvs, it happens randomly.

Update, few more ideas.
- New crop seeds we cannot buy, which we'd need to find through fishing, mining, and enemies.
Maybe some events have them like Strawberries, A few from villagers with enough friendship hearts, and some from Skull Cavern's treasure rooms.
Corrupted crop seeds, which we'd get from some monsters and other sources, some may be related to The Witch and Krobus.
This makes the seed maker needed to keep these non-buyable crops.

- Option at character selection screen, and if possible a popup screen for existing characters after the update that would bring this suggestion, making the game casual for the player.
Many people seem to get upset over stuff they claim "overpowered", while others are playing it for fun or to have a nice calm time (like myself), so an option to make it balanced would open up the game for suggestions that would otherwise be bad to those who are more serious about the game.

- Able to build a machine through The Carpenter Shop, which makes farm waters have less trash, having more fish catches.
A new building which will take some space, but less trash is more fish!

- Being able to resize farm ponds and rivers, so we can have more space or more water whenever we want.
Not too much, otherwise we'd be stuck in water, haha.
I think the idea about customized farms, where we can create the land ourselves to an extend, would be better, but i guess simply resizing would also be a nice feature to have.

EDIT: One thing i forgot about, is all artifacts and minerals to be used for crafting and maybe other things, like trading with an NPC like the desert trader , so that they won't be useless once the Museum is filled up.
I use the predictor site, but without it, it would be just as useful, as smashing geodes will always have a use, at least.
I said "all artifacts and minerals" but don't mean for one update, it would be less stressful for CA to slowly add them in with upcoming updates.
The items we'd get could be just furniture in some cases, or some upgraded stuff, like bait crafted with some, like dried starfish but also rings.
Maybe some dishes we cannot cook, but only get through trading, like 1 anchor for 1 of the dishes and such.

Traders could trade anything for any of them, it's that easy.
Then Prismatic Shards having more uses, maybe some sort of special herb you can get with it that gives a nice buff, maybe like the Magic Rock Candy, but then for outside the mines, giving +3 Farming, Foraging, Fishing and Luck.

Not sure if the spoilers i added are needed, but just in case i did.
