WHY CANT WE GIFT/SHIP CLOTHING

Personally I think this is kinda dumb, when you can collect clothing and shoes and hats from so many different places in the game, and yet there's basically nothing for you to do with them except keep them or throw them away.

Why not have players be able to gift clothing to the villagers? For example, Emily, who I think would probably appreciate all the cloth she could get her hands on, in order to make her clothing?

Yeah. Or the Hat mouse could have a second hand store! So you could sell extra headgear and clothing there. At least you can store the clothes in dressers so they don't fill the chests.

Well, you can put hats on Children, Horses, and Sea Urchins, so that's something, right?
