New Forum Section

In literally every other forum I've used, there is a section that is titled "Forum Games" for forum-related games like counting to 1M, counting using letters, etc.

I think this would be a good addition to the forums for both fun and passing time. And plus, why does literally every other forum have one but not the Stardew forums?

Due to the fact that posts in forum games sections are often very short, posts in forum games shouldn't count towards someone's post count. This is to prevent postfarmers from getting on the post leaderboard in 3 days with forum games.

Forum games are fine and we've discussed this in the past, but ultimately we decided if you want to do some games you can just do it in off-topic discussion, we find an extra forum for games is a bit much for these forums and the activity on them

I have plans to make a forum game thread where the objective is to count to a certain number by posting

Will that be allowed or will that be considered spam?

What about "last to post wins" types of forum games?

As long as it's in off-topic discussion that's fine. If multiple threads like that are extremely active for a long time, we'll consider a subforum
