Shane doesn't want children

Hey! I married Shane in year 2 and now I’m in Spring of year 4… still no kids I tried taking the crib down and putting it back up, but no luck. I really want kids already (even if they’re kinda useless lol, I just want the family to feel complete).


Any tips or ideas pleaseeeeeee? :(

As far as I know, it is a random event and there's nothing you can do directly in-game to improve your chances (correct me if I'm wrong please ).
So you need to be patient, the day will become sooner or later, but it will become that's for sure.

DOBITEUS is correct, it's just a flat chance (1/20, 5%) per night that you can't really accelerate beyond just sleeping quickly in a row, which isn't' too bad an option if you don't mind having skipped days you could have played

Otherwise you just have to wait it out, though it might make you happier when you eventually do get asked

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but it could be true, as I've tried it and it seems to be: go to bed at the same time as your spouse, just as Shane gets into bed, you get in. Do it this way several days in a row, a week or a season. Maybe that might help.
