Question of artist

Hello, I am a young French artist ! I discovered the game quite recently and fell in love with it. I was able to read on forums that the fanmerch was authorized by the creator if it was on a small scale (but it dates from 6 years ago) is it still relevant ? Thanks if anyone has the answer 🫶 good evening

Yes, that's correct! Fan merch is okay to sell as long as it's not mass-produced and you do the work yourself. For example, taking the in-game sprites and putting them on a shirt wouldn't be allowed, but if someone is making pins or crochet or whatever based on the game, and they did it themselves, that's fine.

so say I drew the villagers, would that be fine?

What if the villagers drew us? Would that also be acceptable?

An imperfect likeness, and sadly unsigned so I guess we'll never know it was Gus.

He ended up the artist after drawing this:
