I LOVE THIS MOVIE, it's simply amazing! Art, soundtrack, storyline, its all beautiful. I have a really cool tin poster of it in my desk space!

Princess Mononoke is my favorite but I still have so much love in my heart for almost all of the Ghibli films 💞

OMG LOVE HINA! you just unlocked core memory I forgot! I haven't seen it as an anime but i read a lot of the manga when I was younger.

There was this one show I watched a while back called 'Are You the Only One Who Loves Me?', and given it's very typical overly long name and harem premise I thought it was going to be very bad. It made me laugh so hard. Long story short so I don't ruin any of it it's a satire on the harem genre much the way konosuba also is, and the protagonist is such an awful person, but at some level you can't help but relate to his pains sometimes, again, similar to kazuma. The show has fun with itself though, and isn't afraid to break the fourth wall here and there. Actually, the show ends on a pretty entertaining 4th wall break, but I'll just let that be.

Also, because I like music so much, the megafranchise D4DJ has long been one of my favs, and has filled many playlists with a large selection of beats. Very proud of these girls, some of them have come a very long way. I'll post a few clips in another thread I just made in a second.

I haven't watched anime in a good bit, but probably one of my favorite anime series is The Ancient Magus' Bride, It has a manga, but I never was able to read it. All I know, is that I was rather enamored with the anime, and watched the entire first season, I thought the season one opening was super pretty. It's got a second season now, I wanna rewatch the anime before I take on the second season lol.

I also watched Glitter Force, I was in fact, also, enamored by that show, I remember getting really mad at the last season though, I think my reasoning was because of a drop in quality. I can't remember exactly what the problem was though.

I'm also. An absolute sucker for the Studio Ghibli movies. Ugh! I don't watch a lot of anime media anymore but I still love so many little pieces of it!

i love jojo's bizarre adventure (yes i know the fans are usually concerning but i swear i'm normal) and all the ghibli movies. my favorite is either spirited away or porco rosso which no one seems to know :( also i love love love love love record of ragnarok

I don't watch a lot of things (not the guy who puts something to watch alone like a movie, anime or any series), but I watched a few, here's my top 3:
1. Naruto, the original and Shippuden, (Boruto? the son of Naruto? don't know what are you talkin' about?, you are hallucinating, Naruto ended after the invasion of Pain, right? :dwarf:)
2. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, I really enjoy it, JJBA doesn't have references, life itself has JJBA references, if you haven't watch it, DO IT, RIGHT NOW!!!
3. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, no filler, excellent characters and history, a masterpiece, really solid (I think it is more solid that my top 2😅) and highly recommended

one of my favorite anime series is madoka magica, i haven't watched the spinoff but the original 12 eps are close to my heart. i watched the first 2 movies for the first time recently and enjoyed the changes-- the 3rd movie i've seen several times now and it blows me away every time i watch it, i really love the series as a whole

i like all types of anime but i probably lean towards shojo when i'm not watching the more serious/horror type stuff. ore monogatari (my love story) is one of my favorites hands down. i have a big crush on takeo but who wouldn't.

nausicaa of the valley of the wind is my favorite miyazaki movie and one of my favorite movies to date, the message is so powerful and it is so, so, so incredibly underrated, please watch it.
the properly-rated movie i love is akira, it's a classic for a reason. i recently bought the manga to read!

other anime series and movies i love and are very close to my heart:
paprika, cells at work, dragon ball z, inuyasha, ranma 1/2, summer wars, ouran high school host club, kimi ni todoke

some recent favorites of mine are the disastrous life of saiki k (it's hilarious) and kakegurui (this anime is CRAZY y'all)

Tough choice, but I gotta go with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Killer story, amazing character arcs, and that ending hit all the right notes. Honorable mention to Jujutsu Kaisen for the insane fight scenes! What about you folks? Always looking for new ones to binge. 🎥🔥

Aggretsuko on Netflix. Couldn’t finish it bc I’m too broke for netflix. As soon as I can afford it, I’m renewing it to watch it. I was almost done with the series!
