For me it’s probably when I got my first Prismatic Shard and accidentally restarted the day lol!
You could have recovered the shard and used it to get the other sword. My first prismatic shard in my first save I found in the Skull Cavern... and then died... and when looking at what I lost, the shard was there along with my lava sword. So I had to choose to keep the shard and lose the weapon and everything else I lost... or just lose the shard when I restarted the day.
I restarted the day.
Yup. Completely spaced on that possibility. It was still my first go.You could have recovered the shard and used it to get the other sword.
Oooo, those are legit real bad luck. There is something quite cathartic about those howls of rage, though. Better out than in!Bronze Medal : not a single prismatic shard at all before the second winter.
Silver Medal : game crashed on Vita while saving a day I got a prismatic shard.
Gold Medal : an unplanned power black out shut down my computer during a skull cavern run that was going extremely well. as in, several hundreds of irridium ore & 2 prismatic Shard well. Pretty sure the scream of agonising rage I made when that happened was Lavos-tier
I'll be honest. I've only completed the museum collection in 1 save. I've had two saves go to 5 years (1 solo, 1 multi), one save in summer year 2 (solo) and another in summer year 1 (multi). The only one where I've completed the collection was the 5 year multi game, so there were 2 of us searching for all that stuff.Usually though, it’s trying to get the last few artifacts needed for the museum to the point that I haven’t completed it yet in any saves
"I'm so unlucky as to have found something that entertains me so much!"Worst luck was probably buying the game in the first place. Several thousand hours later, and here we are
