1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

Apricots, the smaller peaches. How cramped is your farm that you're struggling to put in 12 trees?
Oh, it's not cramped at all, I had just hoped to slip the into the space between my house/stables and my coop, because I'm well aware that if it's more than a screen or two out of my normal path routine it's a lot more likely to get skipped.

I've amassed a collection of 6 dinosaurs, and I put them on their own little island, complete with mossy seed trees for a nice prehistoric feeling for them. The witch constantly harasses them though, she's come by about 7 times since I set up their area and void egged them.

Also I got goats, again. I had some before but I got rid of them, but now I have them again lol. I hoard their milk to make goat cheese.

I've also gotten my Ginger Island farm up and running. I made little crop rings full of consistently producing plants and surrounded the farm with random fruit trees. I'm planning on adding a flower field and bees to FINALLY get some flavored honey. But I use the crops I grow to stay alive in the volcano mines, and as a way to feed Leo lol.

And finally, for the first time ever, I met this little raven in the woods selling random goods on Spirit's Eve. I don't know how long that's been a thing but it was really cool and I totally didn't buy everything he was selling.

Wowza this was long lol.
Wait, what raven? Where?! I've never heard of this!

I started a new farm called Tailor's Farm! My goal is to collect every hat, which is going to be a pain...

However, I got a tie-dye shirt from an enemy drop, and I heard it's pretty rare? I like my skull shirt, but this was pretty cool nonetheless.

Started a new gamefile today. (Riverland, wanted to try a chill decorative playthrough for once)

Day 5 - Mines. Got the Crab (already found the other 4 Crab pot bundle thingies on the beach) 2 cherry bombs, enough copper for furnace and 5 bars.
AND I GOT 3 (!) CLUBS  (even though I only got down 10 levels, got sidetracked on my way XD....) kept the first one I got, since it was enchanted with slime slayer and the other ones were bare. ---> Boo. ^^ No Ancient seed or coffee bean neither :enraged:  :proud:

Day 6 - Went fishing (rain - catfish) - some bait, river jelliys, coal, iron, 14 gold, a fire quartz, a magma geode....
AND A DINO EGG! ----> Seriously game, where is my Ancient Seed? And My iridum Band and my weapons? :enraged::wink::smile: Maybe I follow the quest order for once and build a coop and grow Dinos XD

Day 7 - Rise and Shine! Still sleepy. Thinking about if I wanted to upgrade my axe or my pickaxe today with the catfish money (lvl 5 fishing is hit of course) and the 5 copper bars I crafted while fishing...
-- checking the TRAVELLING CART... Excuse me? Reading The following:
Sashimi. Oak Resin. Trap Bobber....nice to have, why not.... Cheapest(!) APPLE SAPLING. Maple Bar. COFFEE BEAN?! IRIDIUM BAR?!.:love:.............. Excuse me? I brought money, but not that much?! I expected a whole lot of uselessness! :enraged: (And was actually hoping for there NOT being stuff I wanna buy like Red Cabbage, maybesome animal products ^^ So thanks, I guess, for offering a a bean starter and some useless food too. although even the cherry bomb would be nice ^^ )

I like those funny game starts.

I'll never forget the one time I started a playthrough which was supposed to be only fishing. But with iridium Band, Broken Trident and Neptune's Glaide before Day 5 - How could I not go mining? XD XD XD
And this was meant to be a “chill” playthrough? Sounds like you’re already speedrunning! 😬

I love that Dino island so very cool and creative! 🤩

That Raven was put in by Old Man Canoli on one of the many many 1.6… Updates. It’s just a way to repurchase everything you trashed that you couldn’t get back again that save like awards, museum rewards, heart scene gifts, etc. Some people trash rare once a save things they wanted to keep by accident and it’s just a way to get them back. It’s not another shop and it doesn’t have rotating stock. It will always be there and have all the once a save things you trashed so you can buy them back that save whenever you wish so no need to rush if your strapped for cash or whatever.

In Popcorn Farm (one of the farms I share with a friend), I crafted some sprinklers to further utilize the space. We also collected walnuts on our first trip to Ginger Island, since we completed the community centre on our last session! (Forgot to take screenshots, oops.)

I started a new game, and I took like 5 hours to finish one day because I kept using the Xbox quick resume thing to take like hour long breaks without losing progress. But then I used too much energy to plant everything so imma just start over

Surit, having accepted Qi's hungry challenge for the third time, munched on some magic rock candy before entering the Skull Cave, and when she emerged, she had an autopetter for the coop!

I thought it might be nice to have a place where people can report on their farm's goings-on and the adventures of their farmer, kind of like this thread at The Sims forums. I'll kick things off!

I am still very new to the game and in mid-summer of my second year at Peacefield Farm. In the first year, I was able to learn the basics of the game, and start becoming marginally successful: by the end I was selling honey, mayonnaise, maple syrup, and jams in addition to regular crops. I also used the winter to (mostly) change my fields to be oriented around sprinklers. My goals for year two were multiple: one, get to the bottom of the mines (I'd gone from 1 to 105 in winter alone): two, expand the house; three, build more farm infrastructure like a stable, a barn, and a silo; and four, tackle the overgrowth on my little islands and expand my fields. As of this morning (Summer 15) things are going well on those fronts! I got to the bottom of the mines almost immediately, and have built a barn and filled it with four cows. I also just expanded the house, so now I can start crafting food! I had a bunch of rain days in the early summer, so I used those to attack the big island and have created a larger field there. I'm also using the little strip of land just north of the road that goes to Marnie's as an orchard. My immediate plan is to explore cooking. Farmwise, my plans are to get a silo so I don't have to plant so much wheat or buy hay from Marnie; expand the coop so I can get duck eggs; continue harvesting hardwood for a stable; and continue expanding on the second island. I want the silo first because there's a lot of grass on the big island that I don't want to waste.
Hello fellow farmer! greetings, I also very new to Stardew Valley, I knew this game since 2018 but I just bought it on steam a week ago.

I'm in my first winter in Warren Farm, I have a coop with 4 chickens, I grow lot of crops in each season but I'm still suck at managing overall farm, fortunately in this winter I spend time cutting woods, going to the dungeon mine, fishing, and foraging whatever I can find. I'm choosing to marry leah in this first gameplay, and my favorite weather is summer and autumn.
