Switch Issues on Split Screen Co-op

So i play co-op split screen with my partner and we’ve had a few issues / bugs with the game.

the biggest one is his cabin furniture keeps disappearing, he had two full mini fridges full of cooked dishes which have disappeared and other items in his house keep disappearing.

our pet dog randomly disappeared one day, wasn’t on the animal tab on the pause menu, completely gone so we bought another one and now the new dog won’t leave my house?

on the fern islands in the volcano it’s impossible to play. the game has crashed on us 3 times when entering and the first time we entered we ended up on different levels and when going further we couldn’t leave through the door at level 2 to get back to level 1.

also in the mines some of the levels don’t work, they freeze and although the player can move, the rocks break and you can’t pick items up and the monsters don’t move.

we have this too! we close it after every 3 in game days and that seems to work in stopping that issue but obviously that’s not convenient :(

My wife and I have been having some of these exact same issues, and this morning something really frustrating happened. All four of our pets disappeared and are no longer appearing on the animal screen (and no we did not use a butterfly powder, we don’t even have one). here is a quick recap of some of our issues we have been having and some things we have figured out to supplement:

1. Ginger Island Volcano: this has been our #1 frustration. Only the host can set the level, so if the second player tries to advance it only loads a glitch level. Level 5 is impossible to pass as it has what can only be described as “water lava”. What we do is have the host go ahead and load the level before the second player moves up. This makes it so the second player really can’t go on solo runs into the volcano.

2. Random crashes after days. The lucky thing is progress is still saved (although the green message does not appear), but it happens frequently enough to be frustrating.

3. This pet issue today. All four gone without a trace. This one is a biggie in my household but maybe not for others. We haven’t tested passing a day or rebuying them yet so not sure what happens.

4. Barn and coop animals. Sometimes when we go in the barn one or more of the animals will walking in place unable to interact with. If you let them outside or return it often fixes it, but is still noticeable. (Not enough to completely impact gameplay I think)

I’m not really looking for too many answers here I’m just hoping CA is aware of some of these issues, and wanted to help make my favorite game better. It has been nice doing this particular farm with my wife and getting her into the game…. But she is a sucker for our pets, real or digital!

P.S. I did forget the mine issue mentioned above as well…. Only glitches when the host loads the level and not if the second player does. Sort of an inverse volcano situation that I described above! Thanks everyone!
