Switch No Midnight Carp?

This is a bug that has been present since the 1.6 update. No matter how hard I try during the designated times in Fall (and Winter), I cannot seem to catch any Midnight Carp. Plenty of Breams and Chubs though, but no Midnight Carp. I assume this hasn't been fixed yet?

I just checked my old save started in 1.5 and caught midnight carp in the mountain lake just fine.

Out of curiosity, where are you fishing for them? I only checked the mountain lake, as that's where I've always had the best luck finding them.

I wouldn't think when a file was started (pre-1.6/post-1.6) would affect whether or not a fish would show up or not, since all current saves would be running off the current build. But there has definitely been a lot of unintended changes/bugs made during this whole patching process on consoles. So who knows.

I do hope you manage to find one eventually, though.

I've checked the Cindersap forest mostly, but I did also check the mountain lake at the appropriate times. No Midnight Carp.

People have had rainy days in a pre-1.6 save after 1.6 was released, but I've had no non-scripted rainy days in post 1.6 saves until the most recent update, and others have suffered the same. So the new random numbers generation must have something to do with this too.

I just hope it's at least possible to get midnight carps on Ginger Island; it may be the only option at this point. At least I can actually complete the community center during Spring, Year 2 now that the rainy days have been fixed.
