Ducks only produce every other day. Feathers are the high value items and ducks have a chance to produce them instead of eggs (higher chance with higher friendship), but getting feathers instead of eggs potentialy makes more money. Feathers cost 250 G at base value while eggs cost 190 G at iridium quality, so it is better to get feathers. However, if you have artisan, eggs will always be more profitable as you can turn them into mayo.Does anyone else have problems with ducks laying a small amount of eggs?

Goats also produce milk every second day while cows do it every day. Rabbits and sheep don’t produce everyday. Some crops take longer to grow then others. Why do you think that is ridiculous? It would be very boring if every animal worked the same way.So my question is that how is it possible that chickens give you eggs everyday, but not ducks?
Its ridiculous i tell you
No offence
It's so that you get a more unique interaction and can pursue either as viable instead of the duck being a retextured or objectively better/worse chickenSo my question is that how is it possible that chickens give you eggs everyday, but not ducks?

I never seen that happenedAnd don't forget the most important feature of ducks: they can swim in water bodies on the farm!
I believe also you have to pet them first before they will swim.It depends on the type of farm you are playing. On farms with few water bodies or small ones like the standard farm, it happens rarely, on farms with lots of water like riverlands or beach farms, it happens more frequently because ducks have more opportunities to be near water and thus, to randomly jump into it as their next move. As a bonus, ducks that swim do not need to be fed.
