Xbox Got small update today, 1.6.9 build 40, touching my preserves crashes the game

I was really excited when I saw the game updating today, but I have a shed full of preserves, and as soon as I go to take them out (or even try to break them) the game crashes. Doesn't matter which preserves barrel i click on. Not sure what to do...

Thanks. Glad it's not just me. also crafted a bee house and crashed when I placed it down. It may be unplayable right now. Somehow the update made it worse...

Also add Chests outside on the farm near structures.

The chest that crashed mine was right next to a fish pond.

Mine crashed too when I tried collecting from my machines..and then also when I went to bed to try to save

I'm having the same issue, I can't interact with the preserves jars at all. I even tried blowing them up with a bomb lol

Mine keeps crashing too. I have an xbox series s. It was working fine for about an hour then it just kept crashing.... it's a bummer I'm on vacation and was all settled in for a long gaming session!

I really with Eric would use his blog to give us updates, instead of Twitter. Also really hope this is fixed before PlayStation and switch gets patches as well... Best of luck to those ok xbox, hopefully y'all aren't left with a broken game for too long
Edit: I have been busy and unable to play today. I just realized this broken patch is affecting PlayStation as well. Hopefully everything is fixed up soon!

I just read a post saying that the issue is with the fish smoker. But I don't have one on my xbox version which is what keeps crashing. I have one on my android but that's not crashing.

I just tried the game and no more crash. Maybe it has been fixed?
