Machines destroyed by NPC's should be put into Lost & Found

One annoyance with the game is that quite frequently NPC pathfinding will destroy placed items. If that happens to be a machine (which are quite costly to craft), then they're gone for good. It's not always clear where NPC pathfinding routes are.

I'd like to propose that any item or machine destroyed by an NPC should either be dropped on the ground (like tree seeds are), or be placed into Lost & Found so that they can be retrieved. Even if there's a fee, that would be more preferable than losing a dozen Crystalariums completely.

Two locations that this happens frequently are the Desert and the Quarry. But can also happen around the Spa, as well as other areas.

Alternatively, fix the NPC pathfinding so that NPC's use the pathways! Some NPC's are lazy and will cut a diagonal route to a destination rather than using an established pathway. Sandy is a prime example of this!

I prefer to move them like chests.
Pushed aside would be an acceptable (albeit somewhat annoying but interesting) alternative. Anything other than deleted completely out of existence!

Or even if the NPC's simply just "phased through" the placed machines, in a similar way to how the player can move though mobs and NPC's that block your path.

I actually think lost and found is easier, if they're knocked around it can be hard to see where the vilalger path that moved them was, especially if another npcs now comes in and messes it up further. If they're in lost and found it's easy to see where not to place them the next time around
