Windows 1.6.9/1.6.10 Quality bug in coop?

Hi, It's my first time posting on here with my first bug after the newest update. My issue is in the coops only in which the eggs and duck feathers no longer have qualities. This applies to all egg types too. My barn items like cheese are unaffected. I'm not sure if other people have experienced this. My coop animals are max hearts and the change in qualities started after loading up my save after the 1.6.9 update. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet. Help is appreciated!

I am having this exact same issue after the update! All of my egg types are of normal quality. I even sold my existing max heart chickens and purchased new ones to see if that would fix it, but it did not.

I thought I was the only one! I actually saw one other post on Reddit post-update about this, but they were using mods so they thought it was a mod issue, but it's not. I thought about selling my existing max heart chickens and ducks, but I'm glad I didn't. I do have a baby chicken, I played several in-games days but no luck. I have no idea how common this is, I'm just hoping for a fix soon. If you notice anything different, please let me know!

Literally made an account to share, I have a random bug fix!!
I dont know if this applies because of the circumstances I had, but heres what happened and what fixed it:
Im on the meadow farm! My 2 first chickens had no issues, I bought an entirely seperate coop for ducks only. I upgraded the duck coop to the second upgrade and THEN the original meadow coop with my 2 chickens, which I had 4 when I upgraded. Once upgraded, I like having even amounts of both brown and white chickens so I bought another set of chickens and sold 1. I used the incubator a few times for another white chicken. When this happened, my egg qualities disappeared and have been for about an ingame year. BUT I literally just got it back because I added Auto Grabbers (Brand new from Marnie, and this was the first auto grabber put into both coops) to the coops. I dont know if buying new ones, or simply taking them out and putting them back will fix this issue but auto grabbers did apply my quality back! Too duck feathers also. I may also have had this not apply to cows (Although this bug seems to only apply to egg laying animals) because I instantly bought an AG for them cause I didnt wanna milk them everyday LOL
But! TDLR: Auto Grabber fixes the issue from my personal experience!

Was that patch for windows that fixed the problem? Also do you have to use autograbbers still to get quality eggs? Does the patch work without auto grabbers?

I’m eager to know to start a playthrough from scratch or not, especially using the meadowlands farms! :3

Does anyone else know if this bug is fixed on the current version for Windows or are autograbbers the only fix?
