Android Many issues after updating to 1.6.10

I updated yesterday to 1.6.10 and since then the game stopped working properly.

The problems I noticed are:

- the game is lagging especially when you walk around the farm.

- Fishing is very complicated now (or impossible) because of the game stuttering.

- I can't water my first pet's bowl anymore.

- Petting my animals in the barn (the coop animals are fine) is now difficult because the game doesn't let you and you have to click on them over and over, same thing if you want to change their house. This is very time consuming.

I play on my tablet, Android, single player, in english and i am using an old save from 1.5

version is 1.6.10

please get these bugs sorted asap!

did anyone find a solution for any of that?
it's getting very frustrating!

ps. got the update to 1.6.11 that partially fixed the lagging but still have all the other issues.

UPDATE:

if you use the controls buttons instead of "tap to move and auto-attack" it will fix the problem with the animals and you can also refill your pet's bowl!!
