PC [HELP] missing chest with items

I play with my friend gameroma67 on PC. We placed a chest near the bridge at the glitzernder felsen and we put our kupferpfannen into the chest.
Today we wanted to play and we could not find the chest. And we miss other items, for exemple the prismatische scherbe. How can we get our items back?
Is ist possible, that the blackberry bush destroyed the chest while changing from summer to autumn?

I want to complete my first message. We changed the accounts from one PC to another PC. Can this be the reason why the world is not exactly respawned?

Villagers can destroy your stuff when it's in their path (near the boulder, detritus and Sebastian might pass), and weed can grow under it and destroy it. As far as I know, the stuff in the chest should be found lying in the area, but I don't know how long it will stay there.

I'd check all storage chests you have including fridges, cause sometimes things show up in weird places.

if destroyed by a villager, you have until you goto sleep to get your items. Sometimes they also fall into the water though. You have to be careful where you place chests. I always place a tester and wait a month if Im unsure. If you want to protect from weeds destroying place a tile (like cobblestone) underneath it.

Typically edges and behind stuff is safe.

If it hasn't been that long since you lost the items you could roll back your save. Also I wouldn't put my chests in town it's like they grow legs and walk away :laugh:
Don't forget to check all chests
