PC [BUG] Incorrect Welwick Dialogue at Fair

I'm playing on PC, my game is fully up to date, and I have never used mods. I've recently noticed that, at the Fair, Welwick gives a really off line of dialogue in a certain circumstance. Basically, my Farmer is always getting scolded by Welwick for "playing with hearts" when they aren't even dating anyone yet. I can further confirm this by looking at the relationships panel. They definitely aren't dating anyone, but they do have more than one marriage candidate at eight hearts. As such, my guess is that Welwick is wrongfully interpreting eight hearts with a marriage candidate as "dating," even when the villager in question hasn't been given a bouquet. So, to duplicate the bug, you'd need to get to eight hearts with more than one marriage candidate without giving any of them a bouquet, and then get your fortune told at the Fair.

It does seem a pretty low bar for that dialogue if I'm reading this right, because it just checks that your top romantic interest (which is just any datable NPC, not that you are dating) has over 250 friendship points, then checks if you have more than one other person around the same point level. So it would trigger with Emily, Abigail, and Elliott all at 2 hearts, but not Emily at 3 hearts and Abigail and Elliott at 2. (It's also a separate check from the friendship and skill one.) It seems like it either does a relationship message, a broken hearts message for more than 2 datables at same top heart level, or a lonely for family message for no romantic progress with anyone.

I think if the point level were a bit higher, it might be less that you are dating around and more that multiple people were interested in you and disappointed, but with it so low it's probably not intended 🤔 If it was definitely supposed to be dating around, then adding a check for bouquet would be easy fix, or if it was more about hopes, then maybe setting the points at 2000ish instead of 250?

Huh, I never really paid attention to exactly how high your relationships with eligible NPCs had to be in order to prompt this fortune. If the threshold really is 250 points, that's really low, because that's just one heart. So I'm not entirely sure if that's the case. Not to mention, it's still a really off line of dialogue anyways when you aren't dating any of them. There was also another issue I encountered with Welwick a good while back where she commented on my Farmer's combat skill despite their actual highest skill at the time being fishing. I can't comment on whether or not that's still happening, though, since all subsequent Farmers I've had actually had combat as their highest skill.

Apologies for the double post, but I actually got screenshots of Welwick telling about the wrong skill yesterday. Oddly enough, she didn't give her "playing with hearts" dialogue this time, but this still ended up happening.

As you can see, without buffs, fishing was my farmer's highest skill at the time, but Welwick talks about combat instead, for some reason.
