It's been absolutely ages since I've played stardew on pc and it's a bit sad :(

I have been so incredibly busy and I definitely have a problem with relaxing, every time I even sit down at my PC I 'have to do work, may as well as I'm already here'....

Definitely not conducive to playing stardew but I have been playing a fair bit of mobile when I have some free time and I'm obviously highly anticipating 1.6.

One new thing I have done is I am collecting a bunch of every single fruit, 999 of every fruit quality and product (not wine quality as I like my sanity). It's a lot of harvesting fruit trees for sure, my ginger island finally looks like something other than only paths though!

Now its trees and paths!

I have to figure out how to get 20 something banana saplings though..... Maybe I will turn all my coconuts into golden coconuts and go on a crazy coconut cracking spree LOL.

I'm going to find some motivation to play in this week though, get back to the crazy money grind, so fun.... (I do actually find it fun sometimes, mostly when posting about it here though - that's why I'm glad I have all the stardew peeps here on the forums)

Love learning how you make your farms profitable @FilthyGorilla! Thank you for sharing :) I’ve never thought to have so many sheds but what a great idea! What made you choose coops as the most profitable?
Mostly because I’m lazy lol.

I could have put stuff like barns with pigs or sheds with crystalariums but those require effort you know?

All that effort stuff… not for me

Oh no, you have poor Birdie encased in stone?! 😢
Ok I’m not one to normally critique others but, yeah, let the poor broken hearted widower who is so devoted to spending the remainder of her days by her deceased husbands remains to honor his memory best she can live in peace. Those really aren’t useable or profitable spaces anyways. Give her a bit of space.

On a more positive note though you have opened my eyes to how much useable space there really is on GI. I never thought to cut the trees down, or move beyond the basic farm. How did you remove the bushes? They wouldn’t chop down with my ax.

ETA: How in the heck did you get up to that third platform on the leftmost side above Qi’s walnut room? I knew there must be a way I just never figured out how.

There actually aren’t really all that many bushes on ginger island, it’s impossible to remove them too so my island shouldn’t be different than your own.

You have to clip through the Simon says cave using a chair to get to that upper location. There is no way to get there legitimately.

Farm as it is on spring year 227.

About to do some pretty large changes to it as the 1.6 update largely removed the clipping glitches I was using to get in and out of the coops in the first place, I'm debating switching to the new update at all but it's a load of fun as I've played it on this farm on a copy so I thought why not.
I think I'll only have to destroy a single coop as I have a devious little way to still building clip (only took me like 6 hours of testing to find because I'm not the smartest about looking for the obvious)

Yeah the clipping glitch that you demonstrated in the past was fixed in 1.6.
I don't know what's the best way to do it, but I was able to clip by putting a barn right behind the coop. I can enter the barn "diagonally", but as I exit the barn, my farmer will spawn right in front of the door and that allows me to clip into the coop in front.

Yep, that’s the new design, I’ll make a video covering it soon enough.
Attached is my 1.6 coop design, only loses 3-4 coops off of the bests 1.5 design (accounting for the same number of silos)
You only lose 6 tiles per column of coops, you get though the diagonal gap with a chair (it works I’ve tested)

The logs represent silos, this is the best website for farm designs but it’s super limited

How do you reach the upper floors in the upper right corner and the river at the top???

And how do you reach each barn? I see no ways.

Going out of bounds, it's incredibly easy there, just requires a couple chairs in the simon says puzzle entrance, go as far forward as you can without entering it and place a chair going up, sit and unsit in it then place another in front of you without moving. Sit in that and when you unsit you'll be able to walk up above the map, then traverse the void a little and navigate back into the map where you want (even in the ocean).

By building clipping. I've released a couple guides on it, the original version and the updated version (as 1.6 removed a couple things, making it less versatile but far from useless)
The original youtube video that I've used for my farm layout (the layout of the message you responded to): https://youtu.be/7n6HxIWI09o?si=HCFpXPl5n8GZL2I9

The new 1.6 guide, if you go right above your message, there's an image with an adapted layout which would use this: https://youtu.be/FldmSpeFoRc?si=FK2HNDEIUEwNYoww

What happens if you reach the 32 bit integer limit of gold?
If you reach it, nothing, you'll just have 2,147,783,647 gold
(Here's a video of me hitting that amount of gold - https://youtu.be/5GaVG3qwyzA?si=Nho6RSAiBUL3EDRR)

If you go over that amount however.... You'll instantly lose all your money. This is actually different than other things like total money held and qi coins which will "overflow" and go into the negatives. There's some protection against that evidently and instead you just become entirely and utterly broke.
(Here's a video of me crossing 2,147,783,647 and promptly losing everything - https://youtu.be/5iEkydMCo4Q?si=pySIuw6QW-3TMgws)
