PC [HELP] the game doesnt launch

when i click play on steam, the game doesnt launch but it doesnt give any error messages either. steam shows me "in game" for like 20 seconds or so and even that stops after that 20 seconds. i get absolutely no error mesages it just doesnt launch.

i have my headphones on
tried deleting startup preferences
installed/reinstalled

It sounds like you've already tried some things, but if you're on Windows you may need to reinstall the .NET and XNA Frameworks:
