It’s just plain chance every time you break a fiber or kill a forest golem.
You can always just revert to your old seed too so nothing will change. Especially in late game saves the seed barely matters at all too.

ok thank you, i thought it's also predetermined where you can find the hat. but at least i can get the work boots like that on level 10 of the mines, so again thx a lot for taking your time. that was a revealing insight! have a wonderful evening!
