The notes might contain secrets about monster weaknesses , or how to get certain items in caves, mabe even a recipe to make a shadow person costume so that the shadow people become friendly with occassional things to say , as well as Krobus having some diologue when you wear the costume around them .
A few notes could talk about the lost adventurer's personal life and how they became an adventurer, and mabe one could tell you a way to dye slimes any color and how to "Purify" them with magic , (turn them white) so that you could dye them any color that wont be muddled by whatever color they were previously
mabe a note about the bats diet and how to attract them to your cave on your farm
mabe there could be notes about the lost adventurer's previous adventures and about how they once met a pirate long ago, and how if you give that pirate a certain object that reminds them of their friend (lost adventurer) they could tell you where they last saw them , thus begining an adventure of finding where this lost adventurer could be
Mabe even clues to the whereabouts of the Lost Adventurer, mabe they could be an old member of the adventurer's guild and once you take them back the adventurer's guild will have hope to be a fully fledged guild, with new adventures.
god i said adventure in this alot, anyways hope this was a good idea, it may seem oddly specific but its justs a few ideas ,if i leave it too vague the idea might not seem as interesting
