In the forest farm I'm currently playing, I'm marrying Elliot. Getting his 10 heart event was particularly hilarious because it took place in the middle of winter. After we reached 10 hearts but before I proposed, twice he said something to me about being sad because he's afraid to die a hermit on the beach. (Hint hint? 
) I was waiting for spring to propose, because I still needed the pendant and I decided against using a rain totem in winter.
So when the time comes, I've got the mermaid pendant and I've got my wedding outfit ready, I propose. He says we're going to get married in 3 days. WRONG!
Day 3 when the wedding would normally take place happened to be the Egg Festival. Thanks to @imnvs I can't help picturing Elliot going bridezilla on Lewis for telling him "You can't get married at the Egg Festival! It just isn't done!"
So we're getting married the day after the Egg Festival: Haley's birthday. I feel like I should give her a pink cake to make up for it.
