So I am going to be frank, I need help getting my mod finished. The mod is called Isekai valley. Basically it replaces all the characters in the mod with characters from popular Isekai anime. I have almost all the art completed in the mod. I started this during the pandemic in 2020 and ITS GOSH DARN TIME TO FINISH IT.
What I need is a co-writer dialogue and coder to help me finish. I’ve been dilly-dallying around waiting for inspiration to strike and well, it's not happening lol. I’ve got the art completed of 42 characters out of 46 characters. This includes portrait and sprite sheets. There is still some additional art that would need to be done (minor characters, edits, some objects) and testing but the vast bulk of it is already done. I also have most of the monster’s sprites completed and some of the animals. The mod was originally designed as a simple overriding replacement mod for fun, so the coding should not be complex as it's not adding anything new, just replacing what already existed. Of course it will have to be turned into an actual proper mod (I currently have it just replacing game files for testing, not SMAPI. I know, this is a no-no lol) and the dialogue and name changes of the characters will have to be coded in.
As for writing, the main challenge is that the mod references many different animes (Shield hero, no game no life, Re:zero, overlord, konosuba, reincarnated as a slime) and so if your not already familiar with these animes you will have to watch them as research as we go. I already have a good idea of all the major events and storyline changes, but I need help fleshing it out if that makes sense.
The blue picture shows which characters are replacing who, and those who have a green box around them means the artwork is already finished. And to clarify, what i am MOSTLY looking for is a coder/experienced modder to help me finish the mod. You don't have to know all the anime in question!
