Windows Why Steam version of the Stardew Valley create a GOG.com folder?

my english is not very good.
Why does the Steam version of the Stardew Valley create a GOG.com folder in: %AppData%\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\48767653913349277\RemoteConfigCache ->JSON file - called: remote_config_cache_production_worldwide.
I have never even installed GOG launcher. Is this a bug or its normal? Devs answer please.

This is normal! I believe part of the reason is that for all multiplayer on PC, rather you are on steam, gog, or gamepass, stardew uses GOG for servers. Hence why when gog goes down, stardew mp goes down!
