Who should I marry in my next file? (Female only)

Thinking of experimenting with a new wife in my next file. Who should I choose?

I have married: Maru, Haley
And I have roommated krobus in my main save file.

i think she's one of the most underrated spouses in the game
she also is really sweet and i think you'll like her well enough

Emily and Leah are good options. Penny is good for a peaceful game. I haven’t romanced Abigail, so I don’t know about her.

If you've married Haley and Maru I'd totally try for Leah, she's canonically older and has different experiences and cutscenes which you might enjoy.

I literally can't cheat on anyone in-game. I goof around and stuff, but if I break the heart of a fictional NPC, I might delete my whole save- ;-;

It just goes to show you how well-made this game is, because if you break up or divorce anyone in Stardew, you get some pretty unique and in-character dialogue for each spouse option.

Like I'd rather die before seeing a face like this!-

And you are so real for that. Krobus is so sweet. I love that you can have him as a roommate. I'd never evict him from my home! ;-;
