the animals mood will go down if you leave the door open, causing them to not leave any products or a lower quality, make sure your animals are happyI just never close the door. What's the point?

I guess I don't abuse my animals! My cows have never seen the light of day. My pigs are roaming free tho because truffles. Idk what's the big deal with grass I just buy hay from Marnie since it's cheap. A barn of pigs can make enough money in a day to buy hay for the entire month lol.the animals mood will go down if you leave the door open, causing them to not leave any products or a lower quality, make sure your animals are happy
letting them eat grass sets their mood to max, and they get a mood boost when you let them go outsideI guess I don't abuse my animals! My cows have never seen the light of day. Pretty fast. Before summer usually.
Chickens are awful for money imo. Even early game cows are so much better.I started with a coop on Meadowlands farm and sold my chickens to make room for better animals.
like 10 barns and coops for first year wood and stone pricesI usually aim for a coop and barn in the very beginning. Then i go for tool upgrades, stables, and such. Even if not for the community center, the steady profit is very nice.
you can get into the mines after 3 days? then you can dive as deep as you can to get the lava sword and gold bars before the first spring is upI usually try and build a coop around winter time the 1st year and maybe towards the end of spring beginning of summer I try and get a barn built. Usually I try not to put a rush on it though.
I never save my first year strawberries for preserve jars. Straight to kegs lol. I used to sell a bunch of gold bars as my hustle back in Y2 and they make pennies but that's still a lot for the early game.I fish like a madwoman in Spring so that I can get backpack upgrade, Pickaxe and/or Axe upgraded to Copper. Usually Coop is late Spring or early Summer. Depending on my play style in that game, I might skip tool upgrades and go straight to Coop being build so that I can get chickens earlier rather than later
Get some Strawberries at the Egg festival, sell the gold and silver quality ones for extra money, save the plain ones for the preserve jars.
Sell Iron and Gold Bars for extra money, Iron Ore is easy to get once you reach level 40 in the mines. Gold is more difficult, unless you focus on Pickaxe getting upgraded ASAP.
Kegs are so difficult to get (at least for me) since you need farming level 8. I put the strawberries in the Preserve Jars for early money. Though I try to save at least one crop for the seed maker, so I can grow a variety of crops in the greenhouse, for whenever I get it unlocked.I never save my first year strawberries for preserve jars. I get them a bit late but definitely not that hard to get imo. I never crafted a seed maker smh.Kegs are so difficult to get (at least for me) since you need farming level 8.
