What your longest and shortest save and what are your biggest and smallest regrets

My shortest save would be one that I made for my grandfather he liked it but didn't really play but once it's on spring 1.
My longest is in fall year two i know it's not that much but I have 75 hours and counting my biggest regret would be not saving everything I got for the community center and had to re get plants that I had already acquired now all I'm missing is a truffle.

What's yours?

Longest Year 4, Fall 3, 149:25 in game. Only main storyline not done is Skull Cavern Floor 100.

Shortest is Spring 12, 2:24 in game. Co-op farm that no-one came back to. The family has been trying to find a game that most can play and I thought SDV might be it. Not yet but it still might be. Other mostly failed co-ops:

Minecraft (recently successful after many dozens of false starts, now playing Crazy Craft 3 modpack with modest success)
Rocket League (occasionally play together)
Ark: SE (recently more successful after a string of false starts and me running away in a snit for 6 months)
Roblox (hurts my head so I won't play, I'm the party pooper)

My shortest save is probably in Spring, Year 1. Day 20 at the very latest. I tried picking up the game again when I wasn’t feeling it and just gave up shortly after.

My longest file is in Winter, Year 4. My first Switch file, which I love, but might retire at some point. I was having fun with it, but then I made the mistake of completely automating my farm so I could just dive into Skull Cavern over and over again. Needless to say, I learnt from that to always have some crops I can water, even if a large portion of the farm is automated.

My biggest regret is donating my first Dino egg in my first file, but that comes pretty close too.

My longest save was probably my first one ever, which was a year 4 farm, and I’d say my shortest is one that I literally played once with mods but my game was FREAKING out because I must’ve done something wrong. It was glitching everywhere and was SO laggy I didn’t even get to opening the box of parsnip seeds. It was deleted very shortly after..

Fun fact I'm pretty sure you can find a second dino egg!
You can, thankfully! Unfortunately, this was before Pepper Rexes and prehistoric floors were introduced. So at the time, it wasn’t fun finding one again in the slightest, as they were even rarer than they are now, and I never ended up getting it again.

I’m not sure of the odds? But my guess is, not good.

My shortest save was in the Summer of Year 1. I had all these cheat mods, but I hadn't even finished the game yet (got the Movie Theather, Prismatic Shard, finished the Museum, etc) so I decided to delete that and start again without the cheat mods. My longest save is my second one, in Year 3, but I sadly lost it and couldn't find it again. My second shortest save was my first save, where I took off my shorts and couldn't figure out how to put them back on. So I deleted that file along with a large chunk of my dignity.

Dignity.. Always dignity...

Well, I pretty embarrassed. My longest save is my first farm. It’s in year 8, summer 27. Let’s not discuss the hours spent. I plan on retiring it when it’s perfect, so maybe never. My second farm is my shortest save-sort of. I have a ton of saved games started by and then abandoned by my children. In any case, my second farm is only in spring of year 2.

that's impressive how many hours do you have on your 8 year save? Also you should post a picture of it on the valley showcase forum I'm sure people would love it!

My longest save is my very first save, at 141 hours. She's on Fall of year 5! I haven't gone back to that save... my current save is my Four Corners farm, which is in Spring of Y4. I want to make it to year 10 someday, maybe I should work on that hehe

My shortest save is my joja save, which I believe is a wilderness map, at 1 hour and 17 minutes.

My shortest save ended on spring 4th.
I had some trouble figuring out the controls, first I couldn't get out of bed, than when Willi gave me the bamboo pole I didn't know I had to click on it to take it into my inventory, so I lost that.
And then I accidentally put a chest between me and the cottage door und couldn't figure out how to move it, so I was essentially locked out of the building.
Then I passed out outside, lost a couple of hundred bucks which seemed a lot at that point and decided to start over.

The second save is now on winter year three, I got four candles from grandpa, drank my iridium snake milk without using stairs, have a steady income and just got married to Penny. I'm working on getting all the fish now. Fishing is the only skill I haven't maxed yet (cause I suck at the Minigame). In between, I try to get all the monster eradication goals.

if you have iridium rod, cork bobber makes it much easier!

With Stardew Valley, I'm barely at 280 hours total while others here have rather more time in-game.

I do binge every game I really like the first time I play:

Ark: 1000+ hours
Rocket League: 800+ hours
Minecraft: unknown but likely 2000+ hours (based on Ark)
Even older games like Ultima IV: 200+ hours (estimate)
most likely world record gameplay time! Lol

My longest save is also my first. I'm at year 5 or 6, happily married to Alex with to two children, Adam and Maddie. I am ashamed to say that I haven't even completed the Community Center in that one yet. :hmm:
I have a lot of saves I abandoned on the first day. I created each for their own purpose, like to marry a certain character of focus on a certain method of farming. Though, I don't really have the time and energy to put much effort into them, though, so I forgot about it.
My biggest regret is marrying Shane in one of my files. I hate Shane. Perhaps for no good reason, but I hate him. And now I have to spend my precious hard-earned money getting rid of him.
One of my small regrets is selling a dwarf scroll.
