Watched the Wonka movie today and am extremely disappointed, despite the good cast... Why do they have to ruin a beautiful story by singing? Are we at Disney now?

I hate those movies where 10% of the time is wasted with songs. One or two montages are fine, but when a large portion of the time is spent by people singing, it drives me crazy...

The story is ok so far, but it doesn't quite match up to the earlier film with Johnny Depp. I thought this was supposed to be a prequel... And the singing bothered me. Despite a good cast, it definitely didn't spark my interest. And Hugh Grant as an Oompa-Loompa is just silly...
