1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

So Ferry caught for Willy his frickinfrackin Lingcod at 10 pm, after about 6 hours fishing. He headed to the pub, walked up to Willy, equipped the Lingcod, and along comes Shane, staggering around in a drunken stupor to grab it out of my hand and complain "I don't really like this."

It wasn't for you anyway, you sot!

Happened to me when I just started playing and caught something for the CC. Don't remember what fish it was, I gifted it to Penny and was devastated because of how long it took me to get. Blame that on the lack of knowledge on when and where to actually fish for it.

Yeah, such happened to my farmers every now and then, too. Not always with Fish, but generally... Once I came along with a Tigerseye for Sam's Birthday, met him in his room together with Seb and then gifted it to Seb accidently. Seb was kinda confused and back home I got a jealous comment from my husband Alex 😏😇

Winter Y5 now on my riverlands farm. I built two more ponds and found room for a third. I'm waiting for the night market to get blobfish, and now I'm in two minds whether I want to have spookfish, or maybe a second sturgeon pond for more caviar.

Mr Qi wanted prismatic items, but I'm out of copper ore or anything else that is orange that I don't mind donating. Gus wants another omelet - now that I can do. I do wonder how a void egg omelet would taste, though. I think I'll be avoiding the saloon's egg dishes for now...

Just starting Fall Year 3 and I’ve decided to overhaul my farm and play more slowly and only seasonally - so no Greenhouse or indoor pots.

I don’t have animals either, just crops and outdoor fruit trees. I’m also not doing any wine and focussing on preserves, juice and dehydrators instead.

I’m also growing lots of flowers and with mods making seasonal bouquets, fragrances and essential oils to sell at my stall in town.

Today I got rid of greenhouse crops and redesigned my processing shed to be more aesthetic.

Not much profit in this playthrough but enjoying the slower pace.

First time seeing this one...

And "extremely rare cases"? Less than 1 in 1000 is rare irl, so I think it's lacking a 0 or two. Also troubling that common side effects seem to include death, even if it doesn't say so out loud. Swelling of the throat leads to an inability to breathe which, if it can't be remedied, makes the lips turn blue because the person suffocates.

On Switch, new run, Meadowlands Farm. Chose to NOT click the ‘complete community center’ first year box at startup and clicked the Legacy Randomization box instead. On the 1st Spring Friday, year 1, Traveling Merchant had Red Cabbage seeds. Very happy. Trying to run it through the Stardew Switch Seed Finder(https://t-dub-98683.github.io/switch_stardew_seed_finder/) but it takes days, which leaves me to think I did something very wrong. Good times!

Defeated the in-laws at the grange display at the Fair... again. Replaced a fifth stack for this year, and the sixth isn't that far behind.

My effort of making a chest full of amethyst for Abigail looks is going slowly as I've got just 30 crystalariums working on it. Well, apart from on her birthday when the 48 statues of endless fortune joined the effort, and when I find some while mining. *does math* Only counting on the crystalarium output, I've about 7.5 years to go... And I realized it's not the right time of my mood swings to do that kind of math. :defeated:

Today I actually sold a full stack of ancient fruit wine. I tend to sell everything as soon as I generate it (at least processed goods ... things that are any sort of resources are what I hoard), so I haven't sold a stack of anything before now. But I thought I'd follow some of Terdin's example and start keeping at least one stack to sell (it didn't take all that long, I get 256 per week out of two wine sheds). It's my first time getting the wobbly numbers, which was kind of fun!

Today I'm looking in on the woodland farm. I played the riverland farm all the way up to Spring 1 of Year 6, but I'm not sure I can do that with this one.
The junimos harvested all my flowers the day before my beehives produced, so now I have plain honey. Such a waste of all the poppy seeds.

Edit: I was wondering what to do with the beehives and the farming area, and somehow ended up re-doing the entire farm. I'm currently running up and down between the wizard's tower and my farm moving buildings around... It's probably going to take me the rest of summer and all of fall to get it done.

And in the meantime I'm too busy paving and placing fences to make any money... Not that that matters much at this point in the game.

Replaced a sixth stack in my stack chest. Then found some time one day with less chores to visit the Statue of Uncertainty. I've got more than enough coal, even got a dark piano a while ago, so I figured I'd better switch from Prospector to Blacksmith.

Missed a day on turning the kegs on Ginger Island over to a new cycle. I've lost at least one cycle of wine there this year, so I could've had about 300 bottles more, but... *shrugs*

Switched out another 30 or so mushroom logs for crystalariums, but I've yet to cut down any of the mystic trees. Still need their sap to trade for fairy dust so I can turn the cellar over to aging cheese sooner.

An entire Chest of Amethyst should be pretty.

As you can see, I'm a stack short on Jades (I used them up).

I've never bothered getting an ENTIRE Chest full of any mineral except Diamonds, (of which I've collected, like, a million and a half of) but if you do, more power to ya ^.^

Currently working my way through stack 11 of 36 since I'm starting out with a small chest. Once it's full I can decide on whether I want to keep going for a large chest or not.
