1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

Something unfortunate has happened on my farm - During one of the thunderstorms, my only red cabbage got struck by lightning and I haven't noticed until now. It was a red cabbage seed I got from the travelling cart and I was hoping I could do a year 1 community centre run, but I can't now.

In other news, I upgraded my barn and coop to the big variants, and bought a goat and duck. I also planted all the fall crops I need for cooking/the community centre, and a bunch of pumpkins for money. I also added more quality sprinklers.

This is the saddest thing I've ever heard of in all stardew history

On Tailor's Farm, I...

- Completed the vault room with my pumpkin funds
- Acquired two new hats: The red party hat and the bucket hat
- Reached level 10 in farming and fishing
- Bought a goat and a pig
- Completed a few bundles
- Found a red cabbage at the travelling cart (in fall year 1)!!!
- I forgot to buy a mermaid pendant for Emily

I'm glad you got your cabbages, lol

I finished the pantry and got the greenhouse on Tailor's Farm! I also got a duck feather and a truffle for the community centre, I just need a rabbit's foot and I'll be done with the animals (save for the sheep and rabbits I'll buy in the future for cloth).

I also got a new hat: The fedora from the Stardew Valley fair.

I really wanted to do a Skull Caverns run, but I kept getting bad luck days and the one good luck day had two infested floors in a row.

I'm in year two with a barn, a coop, a fish pond, and a house that was upgraded once, right now i'm at nine hearts with Sam and I already caught the angler, but I hooked on Glacier fish three times but didn't catch it! Anyone has tips for catching scorpion carp and finding artifacts? It would be helpful. hey, you know, I have three sonar bobbers and one of them is half used. I'm really close to getting five gold quality potatoes i'm going to be able to harvest the potatoes tomorrow in Stardew.

I made my grand entrance to Ginger Island last night and am a little confused as to what the fuss is all about, probably because I haven't opened up much. It appears I have to bribe the birds with the walnuts I keep fishing up? Will explore further now that it's winter. Penny has announced that we're expecting a baby soon, so that will be interesting. I also fished in the sewers and in the witch's habitat, but didn't find anything but algae. I have my cellar full of wine and cheese -- I used the first two rows for wine, and the third row for cheese -- fermenting. The cheese is already at silver quality, but I'm going to let them both ride for a while. It's not as though I have an income problem, what with the greenhouse and all the animals. I've gotten my chests more or less in order: I have a "Farming" chest, which is seeds, tools, and fertilizer; a Geology chest, which is any ores, minerals, or bars; a Fruit chest for holding fruit prior to preserves/wines; two clothes chests inside the house; a "special" chest used for holding items that will be used at a specific time (like the grange display, or bday gifts); and then one that's more miscellaneous, with everything from clay to a Christmas tree. Plugging away at the caves but I've not beaten my record yet.
not trying to be rude or anything, maybe a dresser would be better than chests because those things have practically endless space

I finally did the math and realized that I need about 3000 hay to get through the winter. Yikes? Guess I'm going to be making Marnie rich ...
no need to make that Mayor Lewis lover rich! If you want, you could make a new farm on the meadowlands, build a silo, and cut down all the grass. And though it's going to take time to feed your animals, i think it's great to spend time with them in the morning.
