Hi! In my stardew valley game I just married penny! She is a lovely wife and I'm waiting for summer so I can grow melons because she loves melons, I have also been trying to get the community center finished especially the greenhouse bundle
If you've got the bus running, head out to the desert and catch her some sandfish!

I started a new game and for the first time ever now have Krobus as a roommate. Wow! He is sweeter than all the other dudes in the valley. Well equal maybe to Harvey who I usually marry. But Harvey is gone a lot between doctoring and his usually two days off. One in town one on GI. It’s nice to have a friend who is always there for you. Day or night. I made a house for just for him. It has only two windows in my bedroom, so I can see if it’s raining or not when I wake up. But my bedroom is on second floor. So it always feels safe for him since he wants to be hidden and is afraid of being discovered outside the sewers since people would threaten his life. He’s a lot like me in many ways. I hide from the world often as it is very harsh to me because of who I am. I’m really liking this save so far. And Krobus! I am going to purposely avoid the bottom floors of the original mines lest I slay one of his friends. I am not striving for perfection this save just relaxing and taking it easy.

Inspired by another thread, I did a run where the goal was to get the Trash Bear as quickly as possible. Sleeping in for two years to get access to the Trash Bear itself (as well as all the Queen of Sauce recipes) took a surprising amount of time, and the fact that the farm itself was almost completely overgrown with solid trees was kind of funny but definitely a bit more of an obstacle than I expected. Got kind of lucky in the bear's requests, though: Triple Shot Espresso and Maki Roll neither of which required high hearts with villagers to get the recipes or off-season ingredients, so even with some unnecessary putzing about (chopping down all the trees around my stone owl statue, meteorite, and burgeoning mushroom tree grove) I managed to finish in a single sitting.

I just sold 67 million gold worth of diamonds, truffles, and honey on my mobile save and spent it all in a day on 70 statues of endless fortune. I am truly a responsible spender.

Very lucky and nice job on the run! I always get stuff like eggplant Parmesan and I have to wait months before I can get him anything (I usually have the stocklist I’m just very forgetful for minor stuff)

Wow you really can rake in gold! I admit I cheat in the beginning to get the Joja developments, house upgrades and obelisks, but then I’ve been throwing away any machines, any ore or gems I had, getting my money as close to zero as possible on unuseful items and seeing how I do on my own. Nothing like that. Hundreds of thousand is a good day for me. Those statues are a good investment if you have money to wait until they pay off, which sounds like you do.

Went back to my first file after I heard the announcement, sold a few things I ultimately realized I couldn't get through my kegs and preserves jars fast enough, and made over 1M in 1 day. I didn't know the numbers wiggled when that amount was made at once.

Fair enough, a way that I use to speed up the early game if you don’t want to spawn in stuff is to sleep until winter instantly on a new save and clay farm all winter. You get winter forage and can get half a million gold in a couple hours. When you are happy sleep until year 2 spring and basically start like it’s year 1 but with hundreds of thousands of gold in your bank account.

Also the statues take close to 20 years to pay off so I mostly buy them for the resources, they are very very very slow moneymakers.

I got a curiosity lure from a mummy in skull caverns. I think I'm going to hold onto it until Summer to see if it helps me catch an octopus. 🤞

I also got a soapstone from an omni geode, which was the last mineral I needed to find. Now I'm just three artifacts away from completing the museum!

Started a new challenge run (sell only silver+ so people can't complain about my stuff) to while time away until 1.6, and got a Neptune's Glaive before the mines even opened. No day 2 ancient seed or prismatic shard but definitely quite helpful!

I've got this crazy file where I've gotten a lucky ring pretty early (probably early Fall year 1? Glittering boulder removed, randomly panning a bit in town/on the farm, got a lucky ring, put it on and got a second one the same day!)
It became the Save I've gotten the furthest on, forged good weapons etc...

Today I had plans, but nothing really urgent.. the Spirits were very happy, I had bought a Magic Rock Candy last Thursday in the Desert and gotten one as a reward from the museum yesterday, so I thought: I'm gonna go crazy and use 2 of them. Should last the whole day, and if I don't get 6 (or at least 4,5) Prismatic Shards from it, I'll just quit the game at 1:50pm and do the day as planned.

Guess what: I got 7 (!!) Prismatic Shards, a Crystallarium, a Peach Sapling, 330 Iridium Ore, a bunch of other stuff and my fourth (!) LUCKY RING

unbelievable. I couldn't imagine that a few (real life) weeks ago. Watched Videos of People running through sc and getting Prisis.. While I kept dying waaaay before Floor 100. XD

Day or two ago: Trash Can Hat, Yay. In YEAR 14, BOOOOO
Oh wow! Year 14! Did you regularly check the trash cans?
I got the trash hat pretty often but I frequently check the trash bins. Like nearly every day during first spring/summer: Then until I'm really rich and have loads of everything nearly every time they cross my way and on good luck days (If I don't spend the whole day on a mining run/fishing far away of course) After that only when I really feel like it (f.e. the one next to Gus pretty often makes me get down from my horse ^^ And if I do stuff at Clints/Museum it's really hard for me not to check those XD )

Year 14.. My oldest file is on year 4 and it was my first one. Did you sleep a lot or play the days through? Can't imagine year 14. (The file I'm the furthest/richest on is Spring year 3 now ^^)

I’ve been gambling in the casino. At this point I’m only buying the warp totems, I’ve amassed around 200.
Any luck or crazy runs? Do you like to play Calico Jack or do you gamble on the machines?

Do you buy the warp totems to use them or for selling? cos I believe the fences offer better revenue?

Oh yes it's so much more comfort going through the early levels with a good weapon!

What do you do with all the regular quality stuff? Eat it/Trash it/Gift it/Keep it for seeds/processing?
