What do you think Krobus feels like?

I have no idea why this popped into my head but my brain suddenly was like what does Krobus feel like? Slimy? Furry? Prickly? Flesh like? Leathery? I had to ask my friend who is also a long time Stardew gamer and we came to an agreement that he has thin fur like a seal! Just curious what other people think!

Well that is a funny way to put it.
We are closer to what you humans would probably call a solid ghost. We are basically void energy that solidified and gained a soul through the passage of time, one of the reasons we also live for a long time and why when we are killed all that is left is our core, the void essence. The void essence is the most important part of our being allowing us to form a soul and be born. So returning to the main question we feel more like a cool smooth surface maybe like a cold polished gemstone though that is our skin we also have a solid aura of void essence around us the same way cat have hair all over their skin, and that aura would fell more like a palpable fog with a slight chill to it since void energy is cold by nature.
All in all I think my cousin Krobus would not mind if you just asked him to touch his arm or something like that, after all he would understand that kind of curiosity since he himself his also curious about lots of human things.

It's great to get an answer from a 'qualified' [shadow] person. I also thought y'all were fluffy.
Also, the farmer occasionally tries to eat Krobus in their sleep if the two are roommates, so that's fun.

Interesting thought! Hmm…. I always imagine Krobus feels like an airy, localized chill. Since he's a shadow with void energy, hugging him wouldn't feel like touching solid warmth, but like stepping into a sudden patch of cold, misty fog.

I always imagined he'd be slightly damp, maybe have a thin slime coat like a fish or a frog. not sure why I thought that - maybe all his comments about keeping the humidity up in the house. Also very squishy - Krobus hugs feel like hugging a pillow.

Why did I think you meant “feels” as in the emotion inside/mind way haha, what an interesting question I thought! I’d suspect he feels like any human does, or is capable of it all at least. Physically… he feels otherworldly, a material that doesn’t exist in our world that’s undiscovered… maybe like a thick cloud, that is soft and not full of moisture like our clouds… I guess? Idk
